Made it 45.

I assume Salah died after that murder he took from the slight touch of a leg.

He went down easy, but there was certainly contact. Far from a full-on flop. Nevertheless, hardly the reason why Arsenal is getting their shit pushed in.

I haven't yet but I will. I actually just heard about it today from a friend at London Bridge watching today's games, and he made it sound like it's fucking amazing. I'd be shocked of a top level club going down twice but Portsmouth has spent several years in the fourth tier.

What's irritating about that from a United perspective is that Pogba could have been playing like this for JM, but chose to half ass and tank it a bit because he has to be coddled to produce. That would piss me off if it was a Spurs player honestly.

But now I see United fans washing his balls left and right like they weren't just shitting on him for months on end. Don't get it twisted. He'll leave United in the drop of a hat for greener pastures for his brand or whatever as soon it is favorable for him. He's proven he's not in for anyone besides himself.

Pulisic to Chelsea

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/11596723/christian-pulisic-joins-chelsea-in-57-6m-move-from-borussia-dortmund

Loaned back to Dortmund until end of season. Highest transfer fee for an American player.

I have seen some say this means Hazard to Real Madrid will definitely happen. I would say its more of a safety valve and a replacement for Willian. I agree with Saari on Hazard, Abramovich needs to decide is he going to pay Hazard and it will probably be more than what he is worth, or is he going to get a big fee and sell him.

As an American I really hope I'm wrong but I think that's a significant overpay and that maybe his ceiling isn't high enough to justify it.

Just look at what Sancho has done in his short time since taking Pulisic's starting spot. He's significantly better and younger.

I'll defer to our resident expat german scout aimorris for a more detailed analysis.

Yea we have barely scratched the surface here beating up three crap teams BUT the point isn't we won the games we should be (I very much doubt we win all three with Jose TBH). The point is the manner of the victory and how quickly the players have adapted to playing fluid attacking football. Again made easier by the quality of the opposition but we can only beat who we have. Timing was perfect for Ole to come in and its refreshing to hear Ole speak about us as a team and he has done and said all of the right things to date.

That alone unfortunately isn't good enough for the job yet but I do think today (away to Newcastle) is a decent test before Spurs away as well. If he finishes top 4 (8 point gap to Chelsea currently) then Ole deserve the job full time. I think there is a collective sense that Ole has the man management chops but tactically how well he matches up is still to be seen. If we beat PSG and make a push for the top 4 I would give Ole the job.

My point about player power still stands. What ribs has said sums it up. If you can't put in professional performances because you have a problem with your boss then you do have an attitude problem.

Its as if United fans were divided and the one's who thought Pogba was right have been vindicated? I was calling for Mou and Pogba to both leave but obviously if Pogba keeps playing this way then he is welcome to stay. I still maintain he is an attitude problem and as soon as things don't go his way he will be sulking and could become unprofessional again.

Its all rosy currently under a new United manager and I love the way he has utilized Pogba thus far but those glaring defensive issues are going to come up again when we play better teams. The true mark will be how we can respond to adversity and an equally high press in the final third as we have been deploying over the last three matches.

The overpayment is less of an issue. Chelsea have a terrible record with young players and Pulisic is still only 20. I realize his need to play in England but he wasn't even a consistent starter for Dortmund so I am not sure how he will get on in the premier league. Chelsea also has a rotating door of managers so when Sarri leaves will the next man want to use Pulisic?

He should have stayed for two more years before making a switch in my opinion.

Put a cheeky 10 on a draw at +305. I do believe pool will be a bit more cautious today and can see a draw.

Yea i think 538 would call it +200.

Man. City. 44%
Draw 24%
Liverpool 32%

I think +300 is more like 25%

Liverpool don't lose if Fabinho plays 90 today, Klopp fucked up with his midfield choices. Still, they had two great finishes and we hit the post and they cleared it off the goal line so it was unlucky.

Should've lost at Anfield tho so I guess 1 point out of 6 is what Liverpool deserve from these two games.

Hopefully Ole can continue his magic this weekend. Would absolutely love to batter the spurs but two teams in a good vein of form and away from home for United. Looking forward to a good one. I hope Ole continues to focus on us and our attack and the players have a point to prove on Sunday.

nice win for United no doubt. Crazy how many clear cut chances Spurs had though when United was pretty much just trying to see the game out. That defense is not good and DDG won them the game.

Curtains for Spurs title hopes with Liverpool, City and Chelsea still left. So thanks for that United. Now if Wolves can get some points tomorrow, it's a perfect weekend for LFC.

STATEment win if I have ever seen one. Funnily enough I never thought united would ever need to make one. It was cathartic as a fan, loved every minute and it's been a long long time since I have seen us go toe to toe with an opponent as good as the Spurs.

Agreed that the second half was all Spurs but in my opinion Lloris also kept Spurs in the game and stopped from making it 2-0. I honestly can't believe we kept a clean sheet and it's nice to see De Ges make a difference in a match that may galvanize our season to finish 4th. At least it's not a bad way to go 6 and 6 and beat a team at home in some brilliant form.

What a 180 from the one who must not be named. I am glad I was wrong about him and ashamed I ever defended him. My what an indictment today was of him with a clean sheet to boot. I honestly think we should be around 47 to 50 points right now if we'd have fired him sooner.

This United team should be like the last few Liverpool teams pre-VVD where it's all out "score more than the other team" except you have one of the best goalkeepers in the world to keep out a lot on the other end.

Massive result for United. Looks like a 4 team race for the last 2 UCL spots with every team having flaws.

Chelsea - Lack of finishing talent
Arsenal - Talent and Depth
Spurs - Depth and Injuries
United - Attitude and Defense

Huge fixture Saturday with Chelsea and Arsenal at the Emirates. With a draw or loss ManU jumps Arsenal into 5th.

Top 4 is def back on for us I think but still need some good results. An 11 point gap between Chelsea and United has shrunk to 6 and spurs are only 7 ahead.

I think the attitude of the players is no longer an issue because of the men behind the scenes. It will be curious to see how we react to a loss whenever that happens. I am glad Chelsea, Liverpool and City all still have to come to Old Trafford. That Chelsea matchup is going to be a huge one. I am a bit more confident now seeing off teams from 10 to 20 moving forward. The worry will be if the fixture lists pile up if we get past Arsenal and PSG in the cups.

TAA out a month. We really need to dump Moreno and bring in some of actual backups. Matip needs to be healthy now bc if Milner is gonna have to drop back, we'll need fabinho in mid
