my epic is a ton faster than my old one. but mounts are 800g if you are rank 3 PVP. 640g from AV if you are exalted and 90G if you are rank 10 PVP

PS i went from neutral to exalted in 5 days its not bad if you have a good high pvp server

we can do stage 1 with no deaths, we have had a wipe at 16% due a priest call out right after skeleys and then a warrior call out, had some bad cirts/shadowflame.

then a wipe at 18%, had a bad stage 3 and lost half the raid, then a bad bellowing roar and shadowflame on the raid.

If you get Nefarian to stage 2 there is no excuse for not killing him within the next day or so. Stage1 is the only hard part of the fight.

that tiger mount is neat, but out of all of the epic mounts, purchased or found, that ive seen I really dont want to get anything other than the epic wolf for my orc.

Now i havent seen all the epic mounts that you can find in ZG or other places. But the epic wolf just looks cool to me.

^^ even tho that technically did happen it was using multiple exploits AND on a warrior who has hte gear that probably 1% of warriors have on each server.

there was a bug for 1 day where warriors had extra talent points so he was able to go farther into the fury tree and grab an extra big talent. on top of that he was buffed like no one ever is for PVP.

He also stayed in zerker stance with a full group of dedicated healers (how he stayed alive so long) spamming sweeping strikes and whirlwind (which now they are nerfing...most likely because of that video). he was also the focus of almost all of hte alliance attacks since he was the one doing all the damage, meaning his enrage 40% melee buff was up almost nonstop.

he also used his 30 min critical strikes cooldown.

altho that video is insanely cool, and i love to watch it and be jealous haha, it is not a realistic situation taht would even be able to be duplicated right now much LESS after next patch. and unfortunately i think the devs used that as another source for nerfing sweeping strikes, whirlwind, and enrage . i am decently geared having the unstoppable force at all and while i have hit for crazy every *once in awhile* i dont come close to matching that. ever. sadly haaha

what i've heard is that the AQ mounts are fairly common and only usable in the instance, but that's there's a legendary AQ mount which is usable outside of it.

^^^^That is the same thing that happens to Warlocks. Some ppl abuse certain things so they nerf it. Blizzard got rid of diminishing returns on enlsave demon b/c a pet that requires 50 soul shards to hold for 10 minutes is useless. But then ppl went out and enslaved 1000dps pets for hours on end and created havok. So they nerf it again.

Our CoE and CoS used to lower resists below 0. That was ok because it made up for the lack of reliable defense. But people abused that and now resists no longer can go below 0 and they are giving spell penetration gear so that mages stop whining.

And ppl were sick of being feared. So now they have created so much anti-fear stuff that some classes are immune to it and most have b/w 1-3 immunities. Since you can only fear someone 2 times (another nerf), it really is defeating the whole point.

Hear hear. Of all the caster classes that are getting fuxored, I think we priests have it the worst. With a bubble that rouges and warriors laugh combined with nearly all of your opponents being immune to fear, all we can do is renew and run away.

Thanks go out to Blizzard for restarting the server at 1 am on a fucking saturday night. While this was at first a minor inconvenience as we were setting up for sulfuron, it became a major one when we all relogged to see all of MC respawned including all the trash mobs which proceeded to kill us instantly. Multiple hours of clearing time down the drain and taking down golemagg on our 3rd run foiled by blizzard.

Did my first PvP this weekend. I think i did 7 or 8 Arathi Basins. It was much more fun than I thought it would be. got about 210 kills and a little over 23k honor.

I am wondering what, if any, rank that will get me. It varies per server right?

it does vary a little per server but it doesnt affect the lowest ranks so much.

if that was your firs tever pvp, i would guess that the honor you got would put you at rank 2

everything after that is a function of your honor for the current week minus %20 percent decay in honor for the previous week.

with that said, in order to make it to the really high ranks and consistantly gain ranks, the amount that you pvp would ultimately have to increase at an increasing rate to get anywhere.

most people will not make it to the highest pvp rank.

keeping that rate up though you should easily make it to the mid ranks.

My raid group got Nef to land for the first time last night. We've been past Chromaggus for a while, we just have a *really* hard time getting people to show up and die to learn Nef. Actually had a full 40 of our regulars last night, 2nd try, "OMG he's big!" Didn't last long, though.

And then the instance was past it's reset timer. So we killed Razorgore.

And trust me since I rolled a detruction lock (which i love btw) battlegrounds get increasingly harder due to ppl's immunity to fear as you go to higher lvls, and its very frustrating, but you just have to learn to adapt.

My MC grp took down Domo yesterday on our second try, and didn't wipe throughout the entire instance till we got to him, so probably another two months of getting geared in MC before we attempt Rag. We have enough ppl keyed for Ony that we'll be running that Tues. Main MC raid grp have refined their Razor tactics to the point they should be able to take him out tonight, got him down to 3 eggs I'm told.

ALSO: got my Holy Bologna book for my class seal, which for priests is fooking awesome, better than any other class seal IMO.
