personally im horde pvp on stormreaver. most active pvp than most other servers out there. but there arent too many people from here on there anymore

I made 180g off two items that I picked up on a quick Baron run that afternoon. GLEE!

ill think about it when transfer open up. stormreaver definitely has its advantages at the moment. one of the few servers where there are avs and avs up nonstop for horde side almost and wsg's up nonstop on wsg weekends. we'll see what kind of shape this server is in by then tho. alliance definitely owns in most bgs and is ahead in pve because of the ridiculous ratio of alliance to horde on this server haha

I had a shitty raid run of scholomance last night. 10 of us, with a priest, druid, and shaman for healing and we still wiped 3 times. I wasnt MT, some other warrior was that apparently didnt know what battle shouts, shield bash, or disarm were Nor did he figure waiting for the group to be there before pulling was a good idea.

I ended up with 2 or 3 useless soulbound blues that barely covered my repair costs and the asshole didnt drop my helm.

I also got made fun of and called a noob for having so many green items by some guy who was dependent on a dry wall bid coming in to save his ass. Same guy was playing wow but couldnt afford to buy his kid real pokemon cards

theres the key right there

a 10 man of scholo should easily pwn the instance. tanking is not so much of a problem for scholo in a ten man raid if the group is pulling at the right times and to the right places making the fights manageable.

best way to pull in scholo is using a rogue's sap on one mob combined with a priest's shackle ability on another. in my opinion there are only a few cases in scholo where a warrior should pull.

exactly.

I MTd the thing in a 10 man raid and we never came close to dying. The priests and rogues did the work and i just took the aggro off them as they came back to the group.

it really wasnt that hard

heh, in a pug i usually just take over the leadership of the group whether i start the group or not.

i get the leader to pass me the leadership position and i control everything. the only person i can count on in a pug is myself. and if you dont do your job right, then you are gone and i will replace you.

people bitch sometimes but ultimately they will respect you for it since no one wants to die because of someone elses stupidity.

well i got invited through a guild member that was going. he agreed they were incompetent. we were a room in and his shit was all broke and they said it was too far for him to go hearth to org, repair, and summon back.

half my shit is blue. they made fun of my green pickaxe branns pickaxe is better than any blue axe ive found, including the blue drops in scholomance

it is a mace so you will most likely have to level up your one handed mace skill.

the reason i chose this one for you is...

you are starting to do instances like scholo and strath
doesnt seem like you are doing UBRS regularly or even LBRS for that matter
number one reason though is that it is an easily obtainable upgrade
it has a higher DPS, and bonuses to strength and stamina (just what a warrior needs)

it is about a 12% drop rate off the prince in dire maul west.

12% is a very very good drop rate

prince tortheldrin is located in the library of dire maul west

the library can be entered by working through dire maul west or using the crescent key from the north side.

it should be pretty easy to get a party going for DM, there is a lot of hunter gear in DM so it will be easy to fill one of your party slots quest books drop off the first boss tree guy in west. and there are other quests inside dire maul with nice rewards

yeah i chose axe abecause orcs have a racial bonus to axes i believe. That does look like a great upgrade though. ill have to start some DM groups. I also know some Armor Smith stuff drops in DM so i need to go there anyways.

I have run LBRS once in a raid. was 6 of us and it was redartedly easy. I wasnt MT, just off tank and we had a kickass healer.

well, racial bonus to axe is nice

but...

you might be at the point where the other benefits from a one-handed non-axe might out-weigh the benefits from the racial bonus. in my opinion that is the case with the mace that i mentioned above.

the mace could be a temporary thing for now, until say... you pick up a vendor axe from battleground faction rep, or you can purchase an epic quality axe or find one if you were ever able to do MC, BWL or other 40 man instance.

if you are dead set on axes you could go with this option

has slightly higher dps than your current but it also adds a %chance to crit
the axe is crafted and it would cost about 50 gold to buy the materials for it, then you would have to find an axe smith.

i dual weild these on my hunter solely for the %chance to crit bonuses. i used thotbott to see the profiles of the people that had them on my server, i then sent in game messages to them to get a response with the name of the person that crafted it. then i tracked down that person and he crafted two for me.

for you it would also be beneficial to put a crusader enchant on it

uh mal'ganis horde is probably the worst pvp for horde ever, i'd roll alliance given the option. Avg wait time for 1 BG is 45min. And if you're horde and don't have a 15man group all on ventrilo, you have a 50% chance to end up facing alliance with 15 rank 11+ on ventrilo

when we have an almost full guild raid group we've beaten MF and others alike several times....just yesterday we beat MF twice...and we also had a 7 minute win (raid was pretty much all Mortalis) after we 5 capped them. So i wouldn't say PvP sucks as horde, but i would agree that pretty much most of the horde on malganis suck ass....but thats what makes it more of a challenge. Hell we even won a game with just 10 of us vs their 15...the other 5 asshats (purple reign) refused to join our raid because they just wanted to hk farm

also, we tried to do my shaman quest for scholo the other day 60- The Darkreaver Menace:

Has anyone here been able to complete this quest? We got through the first few waves of mobs fine but when the green wave came we wiped horribly. 9 lvl 60 elite's spawn at once and seem to all be aggro linked. We tried pulling the middle and they all came. I read on thot that you should just rush one of the corners and that will only aggro 2 from the center, which may be doable.

so if avs are up for you on av holidays, do as many as you can :p


also in friendly and revered you get a really nice necklace and cape and a belt that is better than the valor belt.

if you can get up a few ranks in pvp rankings you can get a really nice tanking neckpiece and cape that im using for tanking now. obviously if you keep going there is even more nice stuff both the neckpiece and cape are obtainable at rank 5 or less i believe. i forget exactly where. and rank 6 has some nice tanking plate wrists.

and then obviously your UBRS runs are important because there are shoulders and breastplate of valor drops in there which are two of the 3 or 4 pieces youll really want to get from your valor set.

now i know some of that takes some time to get that ive listed but figured it might help anyways.

You get honored, reveared, etc by turning in the medalions right, or am i missing something else?

Those rewards do look sweet, but this is just another form of grinding

its a little better than regular grinding since its pvp the whole time. but yea you get reputation in AV from turning in for a win BUT the most rep comes from turning things in inside the battleground over time id say. because even when you lose you get rep from looting blood and flesh and bones and turning them in. also you get rep for killing faction leaders inside of AV.
