MF has like three teams, not including the countless times they do small pubbie AB's with a few MF guys and the rest alliance pubs. I very much doubt you "beat" the MF prime group which has several generals and a marshal or two and everyone else decked in MC/BWL gear. I also doubt you beat the Exordium/Advent/MF groups that pop up every now and then. You're already at a severe equipment disadvantage and those guys are good at group pvp.

As for the horde on malganis sucking ass, most guilds I've pvp'd with: PR, Aeternus, PE, KF etc. are extremely good and only n00b guilds: Void, Nocturn, Quarentine etc. really have trouble beating alliance guild groups.

actually it was their "A" group or "prime" as you put it....their B team we beat with no problems...they are a joke. We've gone up against all sorts of MF teams but we've most definitly beaten the prime team more than once but thats only when we have about 10 guys from the gulid in the raid.

I don't buy it. I've pvp'd with Mortalis members before and most barely broke .5 K/D (you included). Beating MF A team with PE or Aeternus doesn't count either.

So with ten level 60's, two of which are in the top 100, you beat the main MF pvp group? I just don't buy it. Those guys are pretty good.

Furthermore, PVP rank is a function of time spent in BG and not skill. Your HK's are the sum of all the HK's of the raid. Why don't you post a guild listing of Myth's Fury and show how many of them are in the top 100?

It would be fun to see most of you guys fight against Ascent's or BBB's "A Team" in AB...

also, any team is beatable... because i've gotten lucky and beaten out BBB who, as of yesterday, have two members who have hit High Warlord...

I've also been steamrolled 2000-0, so i do at least admit that it was luck.

well Stein just used PvP Rank as a measuring stick, so i did as well.

of the BBB/Ascent group, 13 of them are in the top 20... so that shows that they play a ton and are nearly unbeatable.

Well this isn't a "our guilds best team can beat your guilds best team up" comparison.

This argument stemmed from me doubting that a UBRS/LBRS/Scholo geared 10 man group + 5 pubbies is going to consistently beat a poopsocking permagroup team with MC/BWL gear. I mean, I know MF has gotten waxed by horde guilds before from what my friends have told me but most of their A - B players aren't 'a joke'.

Also, any know the deal with DHKs? I know civilians are off limits, but what bout low lvl players? I've heard that killing them results in a DHK, yet when i get attacked by a lvl 18 (I'm a 53) and I kill him for his trouble, that didn't give me a DHK. The pvp page from what I've seen is useless in answering questions like this.

so i solved the problem that has had many many players baffled for the longest time...and not one 'blue' had responded to try and resolve this issue in WoW. Not sure if anyone else here had this problem but for the longest time anytime i signed on with "golovko" on Mal'ganis i'd get disconnected right away. If i managed to get on, and i hearthed...i'd get disconnected etc....it was really really annoying and kept me from playing. However this problem only happened on my desktop and not on my laptop so i figured it must be a constant variable that doesn't change no matter how many times you reformat or uninstall...so i put in a new ethernet card (so now i have a different MAC address) and fired up the game without uninstalling or anything just to test it....and it works like a charm now....no disconnnects or anything....

so in short, if you've had this problem swap out your ethernet card, that might help.

(the card i was using was nvidia based and was integrated in the mobo, brand new, never gave me any trouble with any game except wow, and like i said before, only with "golovko" all my other alts and characters on other servers where fine)

Usually the problem with NICs like that is a certain command/protocol that they can do. Older NICs don't support it, and old drivers for some onboard NICs don't support it either. I had a similar problem whenever I updated my motherboard drivers, thus updating my onboard NIC. I was able to connect and play w/o issue on my old PC, but my new PC would just disconnect me after a few seconds, and all NPCs were showing as "unknown entity".

I'm not saying that would have fixed it for sure, but it fixed things for me. It took me 2-3 weeks to get a tech support person to e-mail me back and give me that damn fix. And it's not exactly the "easiest" thing to find on the freakin tech support forum either. It's very difficult dealing with Blizzard sometimes.
