Have you people not been paying attention? DO NOT ROLL HORDE ON MAL'GANIS!!! IT'S THE MOST FUCKING TERRIBLE SERVER IN ALL OF WOW TO BE HORDE ON!!! The moment they open up world wide server transfers, I guarantee almost every non-goon horde guild on the server is going to GTFO, including ours.

Actually I think that would be a pretty dumb think to do, Iskander.

The best time to consider transfering off of Ganis would be about a month after proposed server transfers comes online. I'm willing to bet quite a few Alliance guilds who feel the same way about their own servers want to come to ours.

yea im going to have to wait and see what to do about my server. bgs are great queuewise for horde on our server. pretty much less than a minute wait at all times.

however the only really good guilds are alliance so lately its either you get a pug and win 50% of the time (pug vs pug) or you get rolled.

itd be great to get some organized horde on this server. but the alliance guilds might seek another server for the same reason instead of waiting to see if worthy horde arrive. so we'll see

There's a perception that horde completely and utterly dominates Alliance on Ganis simply because the Horde/Alliance ratio is 1.5:1 or something to that effect.

well id say it doesnt really matter atm. just pick a server some friends are on or that some people from state are on, youll spend some time leveling anyways obviously and youll be able to find people to group with and such on almost any server. im on stormreaver (pvp) but i dont think many people from state are on there anymore atm if thast what youre looking for.

but server swaps will be open sometime around the expansion being released so id say just pick one and go with it for now and transfer later if you want when transfer open

the reason we say dont roll horde on malganis is because there's really not much in the way of pvp.

Which is the entire reason to roll on a pvp server.

Altho if you enjoy PVE grinding and 1 hour queue times for AB then by all means come on over.

I'm interested in trying a PvP realm cause I'm to the point where I'm not having any fun with my characters I've got. Got a 60 Hunter and a 42 Priest with the Alliance, but I haven't raided any of the end game content yet, and I'm not with a guild that does.

I feel like I need a bit of new life in the game, and I figured this would be a new challenge.

Coming from a PVP- Alliance server, I wholeheartedly recommend Mal'Ganis for leveling 0-60. BG wait times for under 60 is long on any server but I gaurantee that on an alliance dominated server, you won't be questing in Hillsbrad, STV, or near Hammerfall. You can take that to the bank.

Furthermore, playing my other chars on alliance servers in pvp made me notice that rank progression was exactly the same there as it is on Mal'ganis with the exception of getting more BG's in per day. Now I know some people like the masturbation that is WoW pvp right now, but if you're looking to advance in rank faster because there's more BG's per day then you're going to be dissappointed.

^^^previous to last night, i had gotten ganked a couple times by lvl ?? people since i was like lvl 15, but last night i was 22 and saw another 22 alliance, so i figured what the heck and attacked him. he ran off though, so i moved on. bout 10 minutes later, while i'm fightin a raptor (this was in the barrens), i'm at about half health, and this guy comes back outta nowhere and fights me at the same time. needless to say i didnt beat him. that kinda sucked, but thats what i get for bein on a pvp server.

Wait being the keyword.

AV is only up on AV weekend and its a 3 hour wait.

Even on AB weekend its 30 minute waits per game.

I enjoy AV and AB, but the queue times are fustrating as hell. last AV weekend i sat in game, in queue for 2hours 30 mins and then got discoed for like 5 minutes. By the time i came back in i had been punted out of the queue.

2 hours and 30 minutes for nothing because blizzard cant balance servers.

its pretty much why i dont play this anymore.

I might come on and tough it out through the complete bordem of PVE 40 man raids or to play an alt, but i haven't had the desire to sit around in game or farm for an hour just to play a 10 minute game of AB.

Your guys' servers suck. On Stormscale at 60 I get in almost instantaneously into Arathi Basin any time of day. On my 31 alt character I get in usually instantaneously at peak times into Arathi Basin and before hand (10-19,20-29) I would get into Warsong Gulch instantaneously also.

I think the problem is you're just on the wrong server.

Stormscale fucking sucks dude. Have fun raiding at 3AM in the morning because you're 3 hrs behind everyone else in the nation. As for the server population, Mulgore on Mal'Ganis has more people then all of Stormscale, alliance and horde.

our raid times are at 6pm on friday (bwl), 11am on saturday (mc), and 6pm on monday (onyxia).

those are in server times so add 3 hrs. my guild seems to understand that a large portion of the people are on the east and middle parts of america.

if u roll on a pvp server, just go ahead and resign yourself to the fact that you will be gettin ganked throughout your entire time of playing WoW. I see some people getting mad about it ingame, and I remind them that they did roll on a PVP server.

Got my +24 healing to bracers today btw, and started off the day with 3 crit heals . Now's all I need is 20 more gold for my +150 mana to head piece and that will be all the enchants I want for a while until i start getting epic'ed out.

the ratio is probably off on their servers. the reason i have basically no waits for battlegrounds on stormreaver is due to the fact that the alliance vastly outnumber us. so on stormreaver, the horde have like nonexistant wait time and the alliance have like 30min queues

haha, set my alarm at 3:30 this morning to catch what was going to be the "short" term of an auction for undeath to water that started out at 8G. This being my last transmute recipe I need, and it being really cheap I deemed it worthy to disturb my sleep.

Woke up, it was at 21G, I bid, and almost immedaetly (sp?) I was outbid. This carried on until it got up to like 80G, which was more than I had. Worth a shot I guess.

lvl 60 is the current highest level, but there is still like 8x10^7 things you gotta get done at 60..

as has been said before: WoW is two games... lvling your character up to 60, then playing your character at 60.
