yeah, i can solo Occulus and Tick... just kinda ran around to the side and made it up to Anachronos without aggroing Chronalus...

Anachronos is the son of Nozdormu the Dragon of Time... who is the leader of the Bronze Dragons.

Nozdormu will likely be the boss of the actual Caverns of Time instance. I am guessing that you will have to kill him in order to access the past events that have been talked about being available through the CoT...

The hot shit is going to be Karazhan when it is released. I am pretty sure it is going to be a 5 man "end game equipment drop (i.e. tier 3)" instance. plus it looks scary as hell, I went wandering in there once.





Plus there's great 400+ level fishing there....

as soon as i get back from break (since ive been out of town and not able to play a bunch) im gonna work on my PvP rank hardcore. im only rank 7 atm due to stupid break.

but im planning on getting back a week before school starts and doing nothing but PvP during those 7 days. stormreaver PvP rankings are pretty competitive but im hoping to put in time to get Champion in 4-5 weeks. and then im gonna go for 12 and 13 hardcore. as long as i put in time its possible. rank 14 on the other hand on our server (and im sure most others) requires an ungodly amount of honor above and beyond rank 13

^^the problem i see with that is that a 5-man instance with epic gear would be designed to give people who aren't in raiding guilds the chance to get tiered stuff. but that means that people with tier 1 and 2 stuff would likely just breeze through it to get their tier 3 stuff, if it's supposed to be possible for people with full sets of blues to do.

it seems like it would be very difficult to make something possible for people decked out in blues (albeit very good blues), and still be challenging enough for people in tier 2's to be called an epic instance.

super priest run in MC. 2 bracers dropped, 1 mantle (which I already have), the robes (which I got ) and the eye of divinity, which I lost to another priest.

I'm now like one of 2 priests in my raid group without Benediction, which kinda sucks because every high end priest in my guild has it, but ow welp at least the eye of shadow is for free (I think we have 4 in the guild bank).

It still doesnt make sense for me to rock any of my prophecy set yet though, the stat bonuses on my full devout set are still better.

No. They won't. They stated that 5 man instances will drop rare/epic sets, but it won't be teir 3. Itll be better then teir 1 simply because itll be higher level gear, but it won't be "end game sets" which is what teir 3 would be considered.

and our guild is still small enough that getting everyone on to start faming trash mobs in ZG and whatnot is even out of the question unless it is planned at least a week ahead of time... and even then it's iffy

^Uhh, try a guild alliance? You know, you don't have to be in the same guild to enter an instance togther. You can get half the ppl from one guild and half from another . . . or get 3 guilds. Or, even better, ally with a strong guild and get a few members to tag along on their 40 man raids if you can.

there are like 5 level 59 master alchemists in my guild but none of them want to run scholo because they will level.


and waters are somehwat of a pain to farm aswell..., i found them for 3g each on AH =x

Are you kidding me? Water is one of the easiest essences to farm. Living falls like rain in DM and water drops like crazy off the water elementals in felwood.

Being 51 it's a pain to farm still...I can't quite blast through the 54 elementals yet. And I know 3g is nothing, hence why i bought them, I'd rather pay 3g a piece than spend 2 hrs farming and get the same amount of essence. I paid 18g a piece for 2 airs...and comtemplating paying 20g for 1 more so I can at least get the SS Shoulders to start.

The SS shoulders are the only piece worth getting. Get the devilsaur set and then work on getting a Tombstone breastplate, you'll lose 1%crit but you gain 78 attack power, 21 stamina, and 2% to hit. I used the SS shoulders for a while until I got a set of Flamescarred shoulders and decided that attack power was worth more. The shadowcraft set is alright, but you can piece together a much better set.

no, not really... i mean they designed it so that you could pretty much solo your way to 60 if desired/necessary... there are no raids until UBRS that require more than 5 people to complete... right now there are 9 or so instances that even ALLOW more than 5 people and about 5 that require more than 5 (as opposed to the 20 or so instances that allow a maximum of 5 people), and only ZG, MC, OL, and BWL require a raid to enter as far as i know...

so yeah, i don't think it's overly out of line for me to expect instances designed for smaller groups...

But would a 5-man instance be able to give better gear than ZG? If so, then what's the point of ZG? It's already the spot to get items that fall in between UBRS (and the like) and MC. Dire Maul already has some kickin' gear that can be tailored for particular builds that make them better than having a full tier one set. And if they do open up more 5-manners people will likely run into the same situation that we do. The same 4/5 people will run it and the rest of us will be left to pick up the scraps.

As far as I am concerned, do I really want to raise a fourth character to level 60?
