LSU is a little worrisome, their offense should match-up well with our defense. They have no problems with coming out and throwing it 50 times challenging our DBs and limiting DL pressure.

I imagine a lot of quick passes and bubble screens. Going to need our secondary to step up this game and force a couple of turnovers or at least force some punts or FGs. Syracuse D is young and aggressive, we SHOULD be able to use our misdirection to let them over-pursue and burn them(kind of like we did with FSU).

Think biggest concern is that our guys will feel like they just won the SB and either won't show up to this game because they "expect" to win or they're caught looking ahead to UL.

Eh, I'd drop the UL % below 50(we're not even favored in Vegas), I'd increase ND, drop Clemson down to something <10%, increase Wake slightly, and fairly certain I'd have BC with lower % than Pitt or UNC.

I think we lose to Clemson and ND. We should win the rest at this point but we are still NC State so... ya never know. This week against Pitt sets up as a trap game that we could easily go out and fuck up. 9-3 is still a great season compared to what I thought.

we'll be underdogs to Clemson and @ND. this team really has no business losing to Pitt, BC, or UNC. Wake is solid but we're certainly better. weird things can happen on the road, as a top 25 team we'll have an extra target on our back. but it's not inconceivable to say 7-1 in ACC play is a real possibility.

I think Stevens return has already helped the secondary. If Wright can be all the way back and reduce Kidd-glass time on the field, even better. KG looks like he'll be good but not ready, as seen on that terrible angle that allowed that long gain.

Eh, I didn't know FSU would lose their starting QB and have a hurricane set them back. So I'm comfortable with my prediction.

While I know Pitt might be a concern next week since we expect to underwhelm, I feel like preparing for Syracuse's Air Raid and the Lamar Jackson show should put us in great position to handle them.

I see us beating Notre Dame but inexplicably losing to BC/Wake because I can't get over our stigma yet.

ND will depend on their QB situation honestly. If their QB is still out we might be in good shape, esp with the bye week before them to prep.

Pitt seems to have a great offense but nothing on defense.

pitt is bad. we should handle them easily. i understand the concern for a letdown after this win or looking ahead to ND. but i think it helps that the bye week is after Pitt...get a little cushion between that and ND and maybe less tendency to look ahead.

Notre Dame is the only team ranked ahead of us that has a better remaining schedule strength so its not crazy to think we could make the playoffs if we win out.

Have there been any huge upsets this year? Our win over FSU is the biggest "upset" i can think of.

There are 10 unbeaten teams ahead of us in the FPI and 8 if you take out the 2 we would beat which means we still need at least 5 upsets of those 8 teams and games against teams with 1 loss or less don't count because the committe would value those over a loss to SCAR

Teams you should be praying are upset each week:
Alabama
Georgia
Oklahoma
TCU
Michigan
Penn State
Wisconsin
Washington

If you think a 1 loss team will beat one of those teams anyway, then just replace them on the list (ok state, usc, oregon, ohio state, etc) Either way, we still need about 5 big upsets. Everything else should take care of itself.
