ya what lokken said.... right before 1.8 came out there was a big uproar and character transfers and them eventually becoming available between accts. It was stated that it would be available with 1.8 but was later changed to "probably with the expansion"


and frankly... since blizzard openly accepts the selling of the CD's and only asks that you "make sure to call blizzard and set up a new acct with that cd-key," I find it hard to believe that they're overly concerned with acct selling/buying.

I know for sure they will eventually let you move your character to whatever server you want...but within limits I am sure.

Not sure about characters between accounts. I want to say they indicated that would be an option too but I dont recall.

i was talking to some dude who said sony had tools set in place specificly for selling characters.

like you put your character out on some sony server and people could buy it and put it on their account. You got the money - a cut for sony.

pretty sure deny. at the moment in a recent thread i saw where a gm said that at the moment it is not possible nor legal to try to switch characters from one account to the other

^^^^ i dono i know a huge guild on my server had a bunch of accounts banned for all being ebayed over the summer

sony = EQ, not WoW; it's still very against the rules in WoW.

the sony thing is a marketplace where players can officially sell virtual EQ items for real money... i knew that it was for items, but not for characters. maybe they've expanded it, or i just didn't know about them allowing wholesale character auctions as well.

What sucks about Moonglade is the guard's cleave ability.

I was there on a lvl 22 rogue and some douche 60 hunter decides he wants to start pvping so he attacks an alliance. I was standing right next to him and got insta-killed by the guard's cleave.

I petitioned a GM and:

"We are always happy when our customers suggest new ideas to us. However by law we are unable to accept them. Please visit our suggestions forum section on worldofwarcraft.com/forums/ to post your suggestion. Thanks!"

dude our guild has gone out and had massive PVP sessions multiple times in moongalde. the guards in the town when i was there were pansies. killed like two and just ran away from the 3rd. the drop aggro fairly fast.

however i know that this wasnt an option for you heh

^^^^ PvE servers are for people who would rather play Everquest, but play Warcraft because their friends do.

Warcraft was a game DESIGNED around PVP, if you don't like it play something else.

That being said, if you want a good gaming experience I would suggest rolling on a relatively new server (these are usually marked "NEW") and you wont have to deal with that many "hardcore farming guilds".
