You should be able to. Create a new post and enter the person's name instead of selecting a circle or making it public. That should make it only viewable by that person

Yeah, this has been on facebook for a long time. I'm confused why people think "circles" is a new concept when you've been able to categorize and post to certain groups of friends on facebook for at least a year or so.

I was getting them within seconds

but when i'd click a link it would open the m.google.com equivalent instead of the app itself

and i didn't get the normal android popup about what app you wanted to use, whether G+ or a browser, and the checkbox to always use that app
