Yeah... I don't mind the healing, I was restoration specced levelling up and then stayed that way until our first Nef kill. Now I'm hybrid, 0/30/21, but I'm considering just going all-out feral like our other feral druid, maybe 11/33/7. We still have more restoration druids than anything else... 2 feral, 1 balance, 4 restoration... not that we run with 7 druids, 5 is more normal.

Now the challenge will be to get the rogues to stop believing that every piece of leather that doesn't have int on it is automatically theirs. Had one sad case where they forced the Taut Dragonhide Belt on someone and he went and looted it while we druids were discussing the Herald of Woe... I would have used that!

Watching the "Newest Items" page on Thottbot is cool, seeing what's coming in from AQ... hurry up server, I want Genesis!

Downed Hakkar tonight with a pickup group... that was quite fun. It still sucks that Hakkar only drops one item priests can even roll on, and it's not even a pure healer item (wand with high dps and +18 spell dmg/heal, instead of just +heal). All the other caster items have +% to hit with spells, so priests get left out.

i don't think there were any sploits in the 3-man UBRS. but it was back before they nerfed the proc rate on Thunderfury.

im pretty sure there had to be exploits. ive seen a 5 man group decked out in the best gear possible (tank full wrath, best shield, thunderfury, etc) and they wiped several a few times. and this is very recent. i did see the same group run ubrs 5 man easy on test servers with some exploits that i forget what they were tho

the 3-man UBRS only went up to killing the Beast, they didn't actually go to Drakk. they did have repair bots set out during the Father Flame and Rend events for repairing the Force Reactive Disk mid-combat and whatnot, but I couldn't really see anything they were doing to exploit. just looked like uber gear, flask buffs and all that jazz.

AQ Mount for the people that complete the scepter quest line during the 10 hour opening sequence of the AQ gate. Can be used outside AQ unlike the other AQ mounts, 120% of normal speed. That's what I heard...can someone confirm this?

100%. must ring the gong within 10 hours of it initially being run to also get a mount. after that you can complete the quest line and choose one of the 4 weapons, but no mount.
