I can't believe you guys are actually complaining about Eye for an Eye. It does 30% dmg return only, and that's only after receiving a crit. I'm not saying it's useless, but if you both have 1500 hp left and you crit the pally for 1500, the pally dies, you take 450dmg and walk away. It crit? oh noes! You take 900 dmg and you still walk away. Plz cry about something else.

^^ a pally returning 30% of my MSs just changed their whole game against me.

Even worse is executes with 'eye for an eye'.

Now im sure youre heard plenty of ppl talking about OMFG that warrior just crit me for 3800! and stuff (altho ive had mages hit me for 3900 so yea they shouldnt be complainin hah). well im sure MOST of you understand that our biggest numbers come off of execute our 'finisher' ability.

this can only be used when the opponent is under 20% health. so lets say your cloth wearer has 4500 health, if youre at the highest possible you have 900 hp left. say youre at 15% (since its hardly right at 20 when im using the ability) youre only around 675 hp. so an execute crit for 3000 or something is just bloated useless damage that shows big, pretty numbers.


However now, with eye for an eye, I can be beating a pally, get him to like 10%, and try and execute before he heals himself. Now say my execute crits him for 3000, thats 900 noncrit that eye is returning and if that crits its hitting me for 1800

but its complete BS that I can be at 30% health and really to finish the pally off yet I execute him and we both die.... with heals now along with eye for an eye if i just sat there and swung and critted a pally they can do hardly anything and compete hah. its pretty gay that its a passive all the time ability. should be a cooldown.

in conclusion...if my execute crits a pally for 3000 i can be at 37% health and if his eye for an eye crits i can die. 37%...thats pretty much bs if you ask me

well sorry i didnt really know it was only spells i was just giving an example. thats even worse for a clothie then. a clothie with much less health than me (say a mage) can pull numbers over 2 and 3k a lot more than i can...

so say a mage crits for 3000, and eye for an eye crits..thers 1800 damage and thats a lot more of a percentage on a clothie than me

It's your money, you can do what you want obviously. I prefer to pwn cats in ubar style for 15 bucks a month. I hit 60 on my Mage in 18 days of playing time, which is the non-casual approach. If you play casually you might hit 60 around 25 days.

ya you dont really need mods at all... they make things much more streamlined and convenient but definatly not required.

cant get an account without a valid software key which is where they make you buy the software, besides isnt your first month still free when you buy the game? which means if you get it for 30 your first 15 dollar month is free meaning it only ends up costing you 15 bucks for the actual game.

Download the trial version. Just google it. It's pretty much the full version except you can't lvl past 20 and you can't use the auction houses or join guilds. Besides that its the full version. 2GB+ download. They email you a trial # to try for a month. If you decide to buy the game, you simply open the box and enter in your serial number in your online account and thats it. If you don't upgrade, your char will remain on the server until you do decide to upgrade.
