once you get to mc/bwl it's pretty obvious what gear you need to take.

I got screwed out of the Ashkandi today. Guild messed up dkp and it went to another warrior. The Guildmaster already conceded that it was a mistake, but nothing can be done now.

Problem right now is guild politics, the warrior that it went to is our MT and most geared warrior for tanking and he really wants the item. The problem right now is will we lose the guy if we try to take it away from him.

After about two months of no priest drops whatsoever in Molten Core (other than 3 eye of divinity's all of which I lost out to, which pisses me off since I'm the off-tank healer for our MC group) I got my devout gloves.

Plus I hit exalted w/AV so I'm saying goodbye to that hellhole. Don Rodrigo's plus my Dragonslayer's signet have led to me critting a good bit.

Guild has been clearing Razor and Vael w/no problems recently, just tweaking the broodlord fight right now, healing for tanks has been fine, but mages pulling aggro around 30% have led to most of our wipes.

^ Alliance or horde? Mages can go in and take a knockback to reduce their aggro or moderate their dps.

just make sure all your casters that have a chance to pull aggro are taking a periodical blast wave to clear aggro and that fight is cake. we are on the 3 drakes right now. they are easy, just having LoS issues with the spot for fireway and flamegore. hopefully they will all be down very soon and we can move onto chromaggus

also having subtlty and using arcane missles will really help with aggro on broodlord. there is a threat meter mod running about as well, that will track damage done and convert it to threat so you can tell who to mitigate damage. check that out as well

yea for sure. i know a lot of mages might not want to get that ability but it does help. and yea that mod is still beta stage. would really help once its hammered out tho.

but yea just have a set schedule for ppl taking blastwaves. its also common sense to have an idea of what kind of dps you are doing as to when and how many times you should take the blastwave.

also an important note: casters do NOT want to have FR gear up so high that they resist the blastwave because your aggro is NOT cleared. If you resist, either stop dps or slow it way the heck down and catch the next blastwave.

you only want warriors resisting blastwave

^ We use warriors with 8/8 Might to tank Broodlord instead of wrath armor, increases threat generated by sunder by 15% on the set bonus helps a lot. We let everyone go all out dps and no one pulled aggro from 8/8 might warriors.

Also if u haven't killed Broodlord, I'd recommend Flask of Titans on the top 2 tanks to make the fight easier.

yea our MTs always use flasks on bosses, we have enough made. as well as a zg buff and all that other stuff. main tank does have full might of course. uses it sometimes other times does not. a couple of our mages and locks will pull aggro if they go all out tho on broodlord if they dont get that blastwave frequently

Yeah we had our tanks take those and we got broodlord down to 32% till one of our mages pulled aggro. It sucked bad too because all of us healers had plenty of mana, no one had died, rogues were on top of the suppresors etc.... But ow welp, a learning experience.

our true broodlord attempts (say when we didnt pull aggro right away or lose main tank fast) were like 82% 50% and then down. youll get it soon enough

we pop flasks on the MT and OT on broodlord and it lasts through chromaggus usually.

2 tanks 8/8 wrath 3 tanks 7/8 wrath. drops like candy.

Im going for imp corruption right now. Im just messing with a build but i think 20/31/0 would be a sweet grinding/pvp build.

Just made a lock and at 10 im having more fun than i do now at 60 with my rogue.

ok i got a question, i am on my main char which is about to hit 50 tonight

once I get into these 20 main - 40 man raid stuff, how are items divied out? are the drop rates high? I don't understand how it get be beneficial for me to waste my time participating in these events and not getting anything but a hellacious repair bill. With ninja's and guild politics, I see it to be a waste of time.
