I don't think it's new. I'm looking at the the Smallville episode info and it's says "A teenage girl's plastic surgery results were achieved w/ the help of kryptonite." I'm guessing this is the one where Lois is looking mad sexy in that two piece when she's about to get kryptonite plastic surgery by that lady. I dunno, I could be wrong.

What was wrong with Alicia? I forgot what her "power" was. Also, I'm hating where this show is going. I'm tired of them using Red Kryptonite so liberally everytime they want Clark to do something drastic.
Also, this season has been much much much more sexual in nature than season's previous. I believe this is an attempt to attract more of an audience (since sex sells). Looks like the previews for tomorrow night's episode are holding true to this mindframe.
Can we please advance the story instead of all these tangents.... who gives a damn if Clark runs off and gets married because we know by the end of the episode (or the next one if they want to drag it out) the marriage will be nullified and we will be back where we left off before the long-ass delay of new episodes.

Dude, i feel the same way. I was really looking forward to Smallville this season. And so far, like you said, alot of has been more sexual. Season 3 was awesome, especially towards the end. that's what had me all hyped up for season 4. Season 4, things are going slow..way too slow.

I KNEW that would happen at the end of the show, or something similar to it.

The whole episode reminded me of one of those videos they show you in school outlining different situations you may encounter, and how you should handle them and react.

In my opinion, I believe they did it in response to all the backlash they got for having so much "sex" in the first half of the season. I know people with younger children were bitching about it. I guarantee they made the episode like that, as well as the announcement at the end, to appease the masses.
