wasn't a huge fan of lois lane character in the first episode. I liked her a lot more in this one.

Teamwork theme was really nice between the two.

I don't have a problem with the "freak of the week" episodes as long as they advance the main plot. The "freak of the week" episodes that I HATE are the ones where everything else that is going on in the main plot is ignored and all the episode is about is the freak. After that episode you don't hear anything about the freak anymore.

So as long as this one does not ignore the main plot while incorporating the "freak" then I am fine.

yeah she was unconscious at first, but i'm pretty sure she was strapped down because i think i remember her wriggling and trying to get up. also, even if it is voluntary, its a pretty invasive procedure, so the straps probably prevent large body jerks

Good question. 2 guesses:
A. They will keep his character in the show, just not show him, but still mention him. Also, his wife who appeared in the season premiere will show up more.

B. They kill him off somehow, though I doubt they do this.

^^I could be wrong, but I think you're thinking of the Superman cartoon that used to come on the WB. I think this was the episode where they had to team up and fight some weather wizard or some stupid jazz. Anywho, they technically never finished the race; they were suppose to go around the world 100 times, but by the episode's end they had only completed the 15th or something.
