That's upsetting news for everyone 13 and under. It's a shitty injury and I hate it happened, but I'm beyond sick of that guy.

Quote :
"It was great. Naomi (Trinity) and Jimmy Uso (Jon) are fighting with each other because Naomi doesn't wear her engagement ring on the job because WWE wants their divas to be single in storyline. Jimmy Uso, who grew up in the business cannot comprehend this, and is also mad she cant commit to a wedding date. They get into an argument before he storms out of their apartment.

Naomi arrives to the arena and is telling the girls all about this. We then find out that Cameron has a UTI and yeast infection.

They meet with Marc who is a VP of talent relations, and he informs them that there is going to be a huge 8-man tag (for superstars). The Funkadactyls/Brodus and Tensai vs The Bellas and the Usos. He built the importance of this match up like it was Hogan/T vs Piper/Orndorf, and that the entire company's future was riding on this match. Check your personal problems at the door because this is all business.

So Naomi and Jimmy Uso are about to see each other for the FIRST TIME since their fight at home, in the ring. Naomi is working a Bella (who was rubbing Jimmy up before the bell rang). The Bella tags in Jimmy! The two lock eyes for the FIRST time since their fight. Long Hogan/Rock type stare down. The crowd is riveted, not knowing what is going to happen next.

BUT WAIT! The WWE rule book states that in a mixed tag, a woman can't fight a man, so Naomi is forced to tag out. So she turns around to tag Brodus. With Jimmy's guard down, she turns around, runs at him, and hits him with a SHOOT HURRICANRANA which sends Jimmy flying into the corner of the ring. He looks up and she scolds him saying 'thats what you get....maybe now you'll talk to me'.

It was amazing, and I now love this show. "

so we've reached worked shoots in-ring

Wrestling fans, confirming stereotypes:

Daniel Bryan, no joke, jobbed to Wade Barrett in the open of Raw, although it was Brad Maddox playing a heel ref and doing a quick count.

Hulk Hogan is 60 years old today.

Dave Meltzer earlier today:

""John Cena's elbow is in a lot worse shape than they are letting on.""

The newest WWE ref just blew the finish of...wait for it...Natalya/AJ.

Nattie had AJ in the Sharpshooter, AJ tapped, Nattie let go, and...nothing.

She had to put her back in the Sharpshooter and tap her again to get a bell/decision.

If you ever questioned why they started putting monitors in the ring for promo work, just take note of the fact that Nattie had no clue the bell didn't ring.

Title match tonight in TNA: Chris Sabin defending the title in a rematch vs. Bully Ray in a steel cage.

I'm 95% sure Ray's getting the title back.

This is a themed show called Hardcore Justice, the 2nd one TNA has done. When Sabin won the title initially a month ago on their Destination X show they popped a bigger rating when TNA consistently gets almost the exact same number week to week. Since they cut down to 4 PPVs, if they take the PPVs they cut and run them as weekly episodes, it gives them something to build to every 4 to 6 weeks at least for the main event programs.

problem is they only billing 1 match on these "not really PPVs" and they've tried so many headline matches for free over the last 3 years that it's not an event to see a PPV match on TV any more (same issue with WWE).

Also, Darren "black John Cena" is gay.

^^ they have a couple other matches announced, but it's tied into the Bound for Glory Series and I couldn't remember the lineups off the top of my head

Tying into the Hardcore Justice theme, a 4-man ladder match for the BFG Series with Styles, Aries, Kazarian, and Jeff Hardy.

They pushed a 5-on-5 Main Event Mafia vs. Aces & Eights match for tonight as the main match in addition to Sabin vs. Ray, but real life got in the way and Kurt Angle got a DUI putting himself in rehab, so they've delayed it to next week (which is taped tonight, so Sabin's getting screwed tonight and is maybe the replacement "next week"). I'm interested in that just to see what Rampage Jackson does in the ring if anything.

So their replacement for that match for tonight's TV is a 4-man tables match for the BFG Series with Samoa Joe, Magnus, Anderson, and Bobby Roode.

Good ladder match to open the show. Kazarian was given the appletini, splashed it in Jeff Hardy's face, smashed the glass on his head, and won the match.

So after that to tell a show-long storyline, Main Event Mafia and Aces & Eights ex-Bully Ray met in the ring. Main Event Mafia were 4-on-5 minus Angle and were going to pick someone to join them for their match next week. The two sides then brawled.

Sting went and asked Aries to join and Aries declined. Rampage then said he knew who to ask and went to the ring to cut a promo. (Since all MEM members wear suits, Rampage was wearing a camo suit jacket. )

Rampage called out Tito. Was actually a good promo because Rampage talked like he normally does instead of having some script. Said hey, we got this PPV match with Bellator on November 2nd, but this is wrestling and we need you next week.

For the title match to end the show, Sabin and Ray had a better match than their match last month just because last month they were telling the story of Sabin overcoming his knee injuries. Ref bump and Sabin had Ray visually pinned but the ref was out. So he seeks to walk out of the cage to win that way, but Anderson runs down and slams the door in his face. Rampage comes out to get rid of Anderson and has Tito behind him, but Tito has a hammer and hits Rampage in the back of the head. Sabin after the confusion of all this is powerbombed by Ray and pinned. So Bully Ray is your champion again at least til Bound for Glory most likely. Tito celebrates in the ring with Anderson and Ray.

The opener was Wyatt pinned Kane with help from his 2 guys. This match was incredibly shit. The 2 guys then smashed the steps on Kane's head and carried him out. (Kane in real life is going to be doing a WWE movie so is going to be gone for awhile.)

Lesnar and Punk was changed night of show to a no DQ match. And whatever the finish of the main event is tonight is meant to setup a WrestleMania angle in regards to Hunter and Vince McMahon reportedly.

Sandow and Rhodes next...

Cody actually won, I'm surprised. Cody mid-match used Samoa Joe's musclebuster.

RVD won the pre-show match by DQ over Ambrose when Reigns hit him with a spear.

Christian and del Rio for the World title next. Cole pushing a storyline asking if this is Christian's last chance at a title match.

Del Rio retained clean. Very good match. Christian speared del Rio late and he "injured" his shoulder. Del Rio put Christian in the armbar and after a bit Christian tapped out.

Del Rio's face was bruised up. Him and Drew McIntyre amongst maybe others reportedly got into a bar fight yesterday.

Del Rio post-match cut a promo and painted himself as Hero for the Mexicans. Some of the L.A. crowd popped when he started talking to Mexicans. During ring intros, he told Lilian Garcia to introduce him in Spanish.

Natalya beat Brie Bella with the sharpshooter. Was still a better match than the opener.

Punk and Lesnar went about 25 minutes. Lesnar won with an F5. Brutal but also a good match. Story of the match is Punk is a dumbshit letting his hate of Heyman get in the way of his match and turning his back to Lesnar about 6 times. Punk had Lesnar in submissions a couple times threatening Lesnar to tap, and Heyman entered the ring to try and stop things. The end of the match was Punk put Heyman in the anaconda vice, and Lesnar took a chair that'd been used earlier and smashed it into Punk's back a couple times, and then F5'd Punk on the chair to get the pin.

This match blew the 3 Lesnar/Triple H matches out of the water.

This match is ongoing, but is a bit of a letdown after Punk and Lesnar. Cena is hurting bad, it's obvious, and is working incredibly slow. Crowd's hot for Bryan, but at this point Christian-del Rio was better.

Cena botched a Styles clash from the top rope and Bryan landed on his hand. He's fine.

Bryan hit a running knee from the corner and pinned Cena with it. 27 minutes. Shook hands afterward. Bryan celebrated in the ring, they had confetti fall from the ceiling. Bryan's theme music went a long time. Then Orton's music hit. He came down to ringside, held up the briefcase, and then started to walk away.

He got most of the way up the ramp, Bryan starting doing the YES! chant, and Orton stopped and turned around. Then Triple H spun Bryan around and pedigreed him. Orton cashed in his briefcase and Hunter counted the pin.

Randy Orton is your new WWE Champion.

So obviously HHH and Vince are supposed to have been in cahoots all along, and Bryan chasing the title after proving to be a deserving contender is a better story to have leading up to Wrestlemania than having him be the champ...

But I still don't like it.

I don't know anything for the future in regards to this, but my guess is it doesn't lead to Bryan. Bryan is a natural first contender for Orton, and with Orton not having held the title for so long, he's not losing the WWE title in a month.

I have a very negative feeling this is going to lead to an Orton-Cena feud with the match at WrestleMania.

It's true it's been a long time since they had a feud together. But I just remember hating it when it was going on.

JoJo can't wrestle or sing.

The fire match was fucking dreadful.

Del Rio/Christian was really good. Finish was excellent.

Punk/Lesnar was just brilliant. All three men on top of their game. So good.

Cena really held back his match. It was still good, and I know he's in bad shape (both he and HHH mentioned it on camera for god's sake), but it was a letdown. I was watching with some casual fans who weren't buying Bryan based on size/look, and I was disappointed that they didn't get to see him in full flight.

The end of the show had me going, as they let the celebration roll long enough to make it seem like Orton wasn't coming. Not looking forward to nine months of McMahons, but hopefully they can make it more interesting than the past month has been.

Based off the finish of the PPV, Orton has to feud with Bryan beginning tonight on Raw. They're not going to have Bryan chasing the title for 8 months.

What Triple H did somehow setup the Wrestlemania main event. I know WWE thinks a lot of Bryan in comparison to what they used to, but there's no way in hell they're putting him on last at Wrestlemania.

Cena's getting surgery this week so he's going to be off TV for some length of time. Punk has nothing to do it appears so he could be an Orton opponent down the road, but based on how WWE books it tells me Cena whenever he comes back builds up to win the title from Orton, and the place to do that would be Wrestlemania.

When the confetti fell from the ceiling, I was watching that whole thing waiting for Hunter to pedigree him. The end of the show was very well done, even to Orton coming out, teasing, and starting to walk back.

^ I'm thinking a monotone Randy Orton promo followed by Triple H jabbering on for half an hour on how superior him and Orton are, maybe with Triple H sitting in a rocking chair in the middle of the ring.

Sorry, it was a great angle last night, but I have nightmares about long-winded Triple H heel promos from his long time on top. And it also means more McMahon family drama, which is tired to say the least.

If that's what they do, Monday Night Football starts in a couple weeks at least.

so in back to back matches, Seth Rollins and Sin Cara appear to have gotten legitimately hurt

Sin Cara's was odd, not even a minute into his match with Alberto del Rio he did a tope with del Rio outside, and apparently broke his wrist when his wrist hit del Rio as del Rio caught him; it might've been worked, but for just a minute match it was weird

Rollins really did screw up his knee you could tell.

Ricardo Rodriguez is now Rob Van Dam's manager. This is an...odd pairing.

Quote :

I predict that the new pairing of @TherealRVD and @RRWWE will reach new heights. There's no telling how high they'll get. #RAW"

No Orton-Triple H promo as of yet. But they're saying it'll be "a coronation".

The Prime Time Players have become faces for no reason in kayfabe (announcers never mentioned why).
