Beta testing is over and the game is awsome. But 15 bucks a month +retail software price seems a lil steep for a game. Anyone here planning on playing? or is it just way too much money?

^^ You mean a Dark Whelpling to sell at AH? I've probably killed 500 or more Scalding Whleps in Badlands and 200 or 300 Searing Whelps in Dustwallow and never got one to drop.

When I get home from work, I'm queueing on the test realm and then I'm gonna go shopping. Hopefully I'll plan it out so I get back in time.

haha... i got on to the test realm last night as a Tauren warrior... turns out the Horde got shafted and they didn't go ahead and give them fligth points...

they do give you full dungeon1 armor and some epics along with an epic mount and 150g

also, having never leveled a warrior past 20, tooling around with a 60 MS warrior is fun

this weekend was generic character copying and 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM PST Monday through Friday this week should be test realm existing character copying. You can also create a brand new character.

there is a different page that you go to to transfer your charcter than transfer a premade character. its under your account management page at the top. it should become available tomorrow(monday)

GD, our AQ gates opened late friday night on stormreaver and one of the top alliance pve and pvp guilds is already on C'thun as of a few hours ago and they didnt even look at any strat guides. they must have spent nearly every waking minute in that place this weekend

^^^ they prob did. i was just giving them the benefit of the doubt (regardless of how much i hate them) since they were one of the first guilds in the US to get to and take down nef (thus having no strat) and were one of the first to take rag down before spawns.

but given the amount of time they did it in i am inclined to believe they looked at strats as well despite them claiming they didnt

your server is prob worst than most then :-/ or mine is just lucky. we at least have a lot of world pvp in silithus, brm, and other places that vary over the weekends depending on where the big guild's gather. bg queus are generally instantaneous for all 3. i usually cant even get to asecond battlemaster before the one i queued up for first pops up.

I played EvE for about 2 years and one of the biggest drawybacks was the way in which large scale fleet battles were handled. No system server could take the strain of 300+ ships in one place shooting at each other.....

Also, it takes alot longer to get to "end game" in EvE ( there really isnt an endgame, you will always be able to train and progress unlike wow) than wow.
