If you play on Mal'Ganis you don't have any problems like that. You get 2 hours to walk from the battlemaster to the mailbox so no pressure.

you can go afk and still win :x if you're group can't beat people 9v10 90% of the time, you probably aren't winning 90% of your matches anyway :x

I was doing UBRS last night, and when we got to the stadium, the event would start, then halfway through like 10 mobs would come running from upstairs and make us wipe. We had to reset the instance and try again. Same shit happened. I didn't hear a spread shot or anything, we couldn't figure it out.

well yea. even if youre in a good guild that is winning like 99% of its wsgs its hard to find ppl in your guild to run them like 13 hours a day and let you go afk in all of them. on my main server youd prob have to be afk nearly 24/7 for 3 weeks straight to get rank 14 from 13 if you were going to be relying on pugs at all

i guess whati m saying is that if youre just going to go the afk route most likely youre gonna be relying on pugs half the time which would require you to have extreme luck to win that much being afkd in a pug

^^ definitly agree... all though 90% of the organize groups i've been in let most of the wl's go afk for periods just because it's inhuman to sit at the keyboard that long :x most watch a movie and hit space bar or any number of other things. WL's spent the last 3-5 months supporting everyone's else rank up ya know :x

I pvp sometimes with the hardcore pvpers on alliance on my server. I can tell you that the top group of people that pvp together controls who will get the next Grand Marshal rank. If you are outside of this group, you will never get Grand Marshal without their consent. You do 800k, they'll do 900k, you do 1 mil (which my clanmate did for his last week from rank 13 to 14), they'll do 1.1 mil. And you will not farm CP faster than them, they pvp from morning to night (like 10am to 4am). If they have someone that's rank 13, that person will have other people playing his account around the clock to farm CP.

There is a lot of politics involved in getting rank 14. People that are competing with each other will constantly keep tabs on each other and try to stay out of sight so they cannot be inspected by their competition to see how much CP they have farmed (log out in buildings that no players go to, etc). Like if you're rank 13 and 1 week away from rank 14 and you piss them off, they'll make sure they get top 1-3 standings and you'll lose half of the progress to rank 14 which sets you two weeks back.

^^^ thats true in most , but a few of my friends over the past few months have had the pleasure of griefing this group. we ignore their "rules" and are getting ppl to HWL past them and thus cockblocking them. they had an order set up with about 5 WL in line. a shaman friend/guildie of mine got WL and then got #1 standing 3 weeks in a row, got HWL and they were all so pissed. a guy thats been trying to push to HWL for literally like 2months now got denied for another couple weeks
