^^ only a few pieces in bwl are significantly better for pvp than ab/wsg/hwl rewards. bwl is a lot better for the stuff like trinkets, ranged weapon stuff for me as a warrior. im stopping at warlord, but i am raiding bwl and aq still with the guild anyways

one weapon in AQ is outright better than the HWL weapons for a warrior and one in bwl. but thats why im not gonna worry about getting the HWL weapon.

^^^ on a lot of servers it seems like most real HWL groups arent as balanced as a guild group can be. if a guild has 1 person they are focusing on getting to HWL they can create a whole group of 9 other good and well geared ppl around him that should always be better than a HWL group imo. it shouldnt be too hard for a guild to pick one person and beat out any HWL group on whatever server they are on for 3 weeks straight if they really want to.

the HWL group on our server wins basically all their matches but just not fast enough.

besides who wants to wait in line to be HWL :p

i dont think its them being crappy, just a few guilds (happens on both faction sides)being *slightly* better. cuz you can only win wsg's so fast so if there are 2 or 3 guilds that can consistently win in minimal time its easy for a hwl group to have a hard time passing them if that makes sense

on another note, how has aq40 been for those of you doing it? i havent done any aq40 yet personally. harder/easier than bwl? seems like ive heard first few bosses are easier than BWL and last part is a lot harder

Fucking loving my new Ashkandi, can get white crit on rogues for 1k. Mortal strike crit a mage for 1800. Several instances so far where my sword spec procced and I one shotted a caster.

whats your AP? youll def be getting higher hits than those soon enough with your ashkandi! get that AP over 900/1000 and youll be MSing over 2k and white crits over 1k frequently on cloth/leather youll love it.

Im still just using my zin'rokh but worked a lot on my AP and ive been able to get some huge hits off still(i think close to 1400 white crit is my highest and 2300MS crit is my highest...but those are by no means avg and im not hitting thsoe consistent). cant wait to get my hands on an ashkandi altho several ppl in line ahead of me :-/

get that zerker buff in wsg, BS, get enraged and i bet youll be crittin clothies for 2k nonstop

Well when we can find 2 more ingots my roommate will be wielding the hand of rag... as a shaman... which on most servers probably isnt that uncommon but on lightnings blade we cant get the ingots because he is a shaman They think its a waste, until the duel him, and he hits a cloth wearer for 1200, 1100, 900 windfury followed by a 1200 earthshock if they arent dead. Thats with the unstoppable force as well lol.

yeah I hit a 3361 WF the other day against some mage, I routinely get wf's of 2600-3000, I think my average lifetime is 2400. 25% crit 500 AP unbuffed, 30% crit 666AP buffed

i have a lot of different setups for PVP and i never stick with just wont because each has its strength and weakness.

generally for BGs tho its either 906AP and 22% crit or 860AP and 24.3% crit. (and there are other differences in the sets such as %chance to hits and stuff behind the AP and crit).

finally got my eye of divinity on Sat. did the quest on Sun. and got the eye of shadow off of the third mob while farming. put 55 healing on it, which now puts me on a +521 healing.

It's kind of nice having my priest pretty well geared, so I only log him on to pvp grind and go to bwl/zg/aq, or farm for librams of focus in DMW

On a side note, I love my destructo lock.

I never said to use it to exploit the battlegrounds, you WILL get called on it and you WILL get a 3 day ban. Trust me. We got warnings for just fucking around in BWL with it (not exploiting, just standing on shit sticking out of the walls 40 feet up).

AP is like 990 with Battleshout, 1190 when Crusader procs (which is very often). I've had to pass on a lot of gear like Drake Talon Pauldrons, Chromatic Boots when I was dkp whoring for Ashkandi. I'm going for the next Drake Talon Pauldron, Onslaught Girdle, and Nef head ring and maybe the Legguards of the Fallen Crusader (might piss off some paladins). I'm favoring CoD (already have it) over HOTER (Helm of the Endless Rage) for Ashkandi, due to sword spec having lower crit chance.

Dueled a warr with Untamed Blade, was pretty amazed at it's dmg output. Both his crusader and untamed blade procced and just had insane attack power boost. Fought Sulfuras warriors. Really the main difference is the burst damage capability of sword spec.

First, Anethema is the Shadow Priest version of Benediction. The priest can transform Benediciton into Anethema and back.

Second, there is no epic druid equivalent. Only hunters and priests have these. From my understanding, there was supposed to be an item like this for every class which would start from Domo's Chest, but Blizzard stopped after 2 classes b/c the items were too overpowered for the effort to obtain them.

zinrokh is just amazing :x I really wish we didnt have a ban on alts raiding in sub par gear I'm at 850 ap unbuffed so around 1200 with crusader and I white crit over 1k constantly. highest MS is kinda weak tho since I spec'd 31/5/15 to tank aq20 man and ZG since that's the only way I can get gear for my warrior. only 2130 or so.

also ... holy priests are retarded overpowered on test. made a premade and with people surrounding me, I was just spamming smite 1400-1500 crits a pop.

ah alright that makes sense then. the 906 i listed ws unbuffed AP (generals/bg gear plus an MC drop) so that would explain it. so yea man once you get chromatic, drake talon pauldrons, drake fang talisman(still waitin on this) etc you will own a warrior with UTB. UTB is very tough when it procs tho. but as soon as that or their crusader procs i generally just disarm any warriors who arent wearing stronghold's its great. :p

and yea the sword spec 5% basically equals 5% or more crit in the overall calculations so if youre at like 22% crit with sword spec you really are around 27ish.

once you get your unbuffed AP over 900 let me know how hard youre hittin. i gaurantee you youll see over 2k MS on clothies on a more than rare basis

There are a lot of different builds when it comes to gear choices. Like my clanmate, his using the Grand Marshal polearm with polearm spec (5% crit), so he has 29% in zerker. Instead of using crit gear to get it to around 33-34% crit, he went for AP build that lets him MS casters for 2k+ crits rather consistently.

I'm Ashkandi using sword spec, so I focus on crit gear instead of AP gear. Currently 28% crit in zerker stance. Hoping to get chromatic boots, draketalon, and cloak of draconic might to boost it to 31% crit rate. I might focus a little more towards To Hit % items, base hit % for warriors is 95%. Need 5% for 100% hit rate. The 3% to hit scope is not a worthy investment at all (currently using Blastershot Launcher) since it's being nerfed to only affect ranged hit % in 1.10. I'm getting 1% to hit from Onyxia Tooth Pendent. Nef head ring would give me 1% more. Drake Fang Tailsman is a hot item, it's 2% to hit would put me at 99% with nef ring. Lifegiving gem is also very attractive for pvp, it's basically a free heal pot every 5 min, next one is going to default to me free of dkp (distributed in tanking rank, i'm the OT).



And yes, it will be easy for me to get all those items. I whored dkp for Ashkandi, now that I have it I can pretty much go on a shopping spree for the rest of the items I want from BWL.

I have been wondering if the other servers have a similar item rate drop problem that mine does. . . I've noticed that at some points items will just drop at crazy rates. Living Essence typically went for 10-12g a pop (I know b/c I stalk AH). All of a sudden one week, like every elemental mob in DM dropped one, and the price went down to 2g. Then, drop rate regulates and goes to 8g.

DM books . . . used to be 100g a pop (depends on class) and there was typically 1 or 2 on AH. All of a sudden, there are like 20 of each on AH and they are all going for 10g. Same thing happened with Chromatic Cloak recipe . . . hardly was ever one up on AH then all of a sudden 10 ppl have it up one weekend and the price drops around 100g. A few weeks later all is better.

I'd say this is all related to DM having retarded cycles, but I have also seen this happen with Chromatic Resistance, Supreme Power, and Hyper Radiant Flame Reflector recipies.

Foror's Compendium of Dragon Slaying is down to 900g on my server now. Three of them are on the AH atm. Prices also depends on the maturity of the server. Like on Mug'thol, there are like 17-20 guilds that has BWL on farm status and about 20 more guilds working towards nef. This means a very high consumption of potions, driving up prices on Black Lotus and Dreamfoil. Dreamfoil sells about 17-20g a stack on my server.

^^ Someone needs to make a better Auctioneer. Problem of auctioneer is that you get the average from it.

The kind of information I would want to see is the price fluctuations over a time period, day, week, months. Because for high volume items such as enchanting reagents or alchemy reagents there is a daily seasonality in the price, 6pm in the evening versus 4am in the morning. Not only there are daily seasonality that affects high volume items, there are also weekly seasonality (more raids on sunday versus raids on friday).

For durable goods, such as epic items like Lionheart Helm, Belt of Archmage, there is also a price trend but over longer periods than high volume items.
