Great win for arsenal. Big winners at the weekend. Midfield was off today despite pogba and Matic. Much to rwoodys delight we did not outperform our xg today. I don’t remember the chances for both but if we do bury our 2 or 3 I think it’s a draw if not a win but that’s all we created. Surprisingly Arsenal’s defense was resilient today. Leno was fantastic IMO. Shaka too.

I still think we finish above arsenal but top 4 is heating up. Well done Arsenal. Deserved.

It's weird how underwhelming the Mane transfer was to everyone on here, including Liverpool fans. Probably because of the Pogba deal happening so close but Mane is unplayable at the moment. I know you guys would love this narrative but that's simply not true. Barca and Juve are both better and they have the x factor. City may play well in the system that Pep has but they haven't even come close to making the CL final. Ronaldo smashes them in the semi I think.

lol I know no one is going to give us a chance but I love this matchup. I did want a marquee matchup so happy with it. Get through this and confidence is sky high. If we can beat Barca we should take care of Pool IMO. Glad to have Pogba back. Ole is relishing this one and the lads should play with zero pressure. Just need to ensure Herrera, Pogba, Martial and Rash are fit. Barca's away form isn't great but they get by with their home form. Gonna need a nice smash and grab.

I would never not give United a chance. It will be interesting to see how they play Messi and company especially if Barca come in relatively healthy.

I do think City are going to eventually run into fatigue. They already won Carabao Cup in a shootout. They are challenging for the PL crown again, still in FA Cup. My guess is UEFA really wants the final to be Messi/Ronaldo in Madrid.

Agreed. Pace causes our defense a lot of struggle so Dembele is going to be massive for them too. Can't believe its been 8 years since we played Barca and 11 years since facing them in the knockouts. Hoping for another stunner from a Paul again. Exciting to be involved in the quarters though as its been a long time I feel (Moyes v Bayern with Fergies team?) and much rather this than Spurs, Ajax and Porto. Gotta beat the best eventually anyway.

Comparing the last time we played Barca I think we have a much better shot than the two finals. First is that I don't think this Barca team is as good as the ones we played in the finals but also because I think we have a better counter attack. They won't choke us off the ball like they did in 09 and 11 IMO. Pogba has to show up, this is what he wants to be involved in so go on an grab the chance son.
