We got the eye on our 2nd rag kill, had to borrow the last 2 ingots from alliance because all horde refused to lend us ingots or craft it for us because we gave it to a shaman and according to them only warrriors should ever have that weapon. Too bad they get the shit kicked out of them in duels now.

one alliance guild on my server got -4- sets of bindings, but the 4 alliance guilds in BWL refused to give them elementium :x. They sat with 4 sets for almost 3 months and no way to make the swords.

We've been killing Rag for about a month now. We've had two eyes drop...

A major alliance guild broke up and put their entire guild bank on the AH. We ended up paying around 10k for 11 ingots. We had 2 ingots banked, got another 2 from another guild that broke up the day after the first, and traded a boe and some cores for the final one.

Crafted 2 hammers in 2 days.

You wont hear me say this often if ever again about a melee weapon or set of weapons but the ZG claw set is blatantly a HUNTER set. The biggest key is that the proc can proc off ranged attacks and adds ranged attack power. The other indication that this set is for hunters is that it's terrible for rogues (it would be ok for a fury warrior if you couldn't get into MC). The damage range on the mainhand claw is roughly equal to my DAGGER. A good mainhand claw for a rogue will have a higher damage range like a sword (ie Claw of the Black Drake). If you want it just to turn into a tiger when it procs then I can understand that, but not becuase of it's damage output as a set of weapons.

actually Nef himself. read a lot of strats and stuff just still figuring it out. a bit of a smaller guild, generally 40-50 ppl on max for raids so we can always be picky with class balance which makes a difference i believe

honestly ive only been for 1 attempt and we've only been on nef for 3 weeks or so. didnt put a lot of time into bwl until 2 mos ago. so i couldnt give you a detailed idea of our strat on nef as hes pretty new to us and i dont have a lot of experience.

hopefully ill get to go on more nef attempts soon so we can get this guy down

I have only seen Fang of the Faceless drop once and some guy who just came in for that week and runs BWL won it. I was pissed. I already have the offhand Warblade of the Hakkari.

I am not going to argue what is and isn't a proper rogue weapon, but they look awesome. And the mainhand is awesome. Since I just started running MC I don't have and likely won't have for a while CHT or Perditions. The claws are a personal preference.

No, the whole thing was essentially a PuG from the beginning. It was an association of folks that knew eachother and wanted to form a late night static ZG and Ony group. The guy that made a guest appearence was a friend of our main tank who is also one of the group leaders. Loot rules are something like only one epic per run. I just hated being shafted after having been to every run since it started. Oh well. It has to drop again sometime.

A rogue in my guild was the first on the server to have the claw set, still the only one I believe as well. Sad is it wasnt the rogue going for the set just happend both claws dropped while he was there and the rogue who wanted it happened to not be there either week the tiger claw dropped. Oh yeah we also got our first binding the same run our first eye dropped so that was pretty freaking sweet of a run.

I wouldn't think of switching to combat until I had the claws and even then I may use a weapon swap macro. The claws come down to personal preference. Now if I knew that I would be getting Perdition and/or CHT anytime soon, then I would shelf this ambition to solely a novelty. I would just like to have them. They look sharp and are on par with if not better than what I currently have access to.

i have the main hand claw and equipped long enough to take a screen shot with.

as a duel wield hunter the main hand claw is nice but the offhand sucks balls. ill prolly use it for a little while when i finally pick up the other hand. but i think my goal for weapon set would be brutality blade with fang of the faceless.

im prety much evenly split between assassination and combat. This is one of the few classes where every tree has shit in it that i want.

only good main hand rogue claw is claw of the black drake (and it is a beast, we have 2 fisters with it).

For overall dps you will get more out of sword rogues then anyone else in long fights, a whole lot when you give them stupidly strong mainhands. Our last perditions went to a priest
