This is going to make the 2020 election a referendum on the SCOTUS. I think this might change the election cycle significantly. Trump, his supporters, conservatives, and I bet even never Trumpers would be on board for one more 4 year term if he gets to appoint a new justice.

I'm not counting Ginsburg out, but pancreatic cancer is a tough one to beat. Especially at her age.

Trumpers are probably already frothing at their mouths.

People really don't understand the notion that if you can't get the deal you want, that need to be willing to walk away and not make a deal at all. I'm happy to dispel the notion that any deal is better than no deal. Hell no. I'm not a fan of how some media outlets are reporting it as all US service members. It's a dick move, but misrepresenting it gives cover for FoxNews to dismiss it as "fake news," when it's very much real. The policy change serves no legitimate purpose, even if it only affects ~100 children a year. It's an absolutely assholish thing to do to make servicemembers overseas fill out fucking paperwork to get citizenship for their kid.
