Yeah that’s not directed at Armstrong.

You bring him in and run it first down, get to the 2 yard line. Then snap to him and he option read and plows in from 2 yards out which is actually a strength of his, crowd goes wild. But instead you call that play and he loses 10 yards? Why bring him in then.

These plays always make me scratch my head. Every single person with a brain knows what is coming when a team substitutes QBs on short yardage plays. Especially when you change formations. Drives me nuts.

^^ I wouldn’t have even totally hated seeing Armstrong go from shotgun and run a QB draw. He’s at least shown he can get 3-4 yards on that. That sequence was just bad all around. Putting him under center was just bizarre
