maybe this is an old bug or maybe not

but while playing a rogue has anyone had the fucking action bar freeze up if you get feared while using it?

I was grinding on the plague bats in EPL and half the time they feared me i was hitting SS and it froze my fucking action bar so i had to sit and wait for the rogue to white damage the fucker to death.

of course blizzard thinks its my custom UI

to fix it just hit esc to reset your target and your actions will come back.... I was white damaging a defender for like 30% because I wasn't paying attentino and my backstab locked up


just hit esc it fixes it.

as long as you dont retarget a seperate mob it shouldnt reset your combo points ala getting feared


just hit esc and retarget the same mob and you should be good to go, I was thoroughly confused when it happend to me the first time as well.

so how far have people gotten in AQ 40? has it been beaten yet? how many bosses does it have and how many have been downed?

there are 11 bosses in AQ40

some guilds have completed all the way up to the last boss (c'thun)

not one guild has of yet been able to kill c'thun. it is a 3 stage fight and no one has gotten past stage 2 yet.

i would imagine that a few guilds on medivh will have a good shot at being the first to do it. ascent on the horde side has been in there since day one, and shadowed fates on the alliance side has also been in there since day one.

i thin we have 5 guilds (between horde and alliance) on C'thun. first 3 were on him within 2 weeks. other 2 recently. i still havent gone into AQ40 personally tho.

our server population is way to high especially with bloobs atm :p. i would consider transfering but i love the instant BG qs from being a heavy pop server.

to give you an idea of the login times or lag in high end instances i tihnk we now have approaching 20 guilds on our server who have taken down nef. and being on one of the oldest servers our hardware is crap..and come tues, wes, thursday its always laggy as HELL in bwl and AQ i hear as well

i think most guilds through bwl and such have that much cash laying around so i guess your right. the first to get it on farm status without excessive consumables is more impressive imo

First kills always need consumables to make up for the mistakes that are made from not having practice on the encounter / not being geared properly. It will always be that way. Once you have been doing the encounter for awhile and are geared up for that encounter then you can mess around and only have 20 people actually trying seriously.
