that makes no sense..

and i actually read. a lot. its one of my favorite things to do. and lord of hte rings and the wheel of time series are some of my favorite books ever (ie a ton of depth in their worlds).

but i play WoW to PVP. the lore when i have run across it in the game is interesting but ive never put a lot of time into following it in depth

yeah the lore in Warcraft isnt anywhere near as deep as that

its just a video game, that has blown up in popularity so they have to make it last.

WC3 screwed the lore up from my tastes but i still enjoy the games. not too big of a deal.

they didnt change the lore at all ... it definitly make sense ... why would the draeni join the horde when the orcs tried to eradicate them ? the Eredar were the bad ones (archimonde kil'jaedan) etc.

Thats from their lore. The expansion changes it to say that Sargeras found the eredar(after he went mad), a peaceful, powerful society, and corrupted them to serve him.

Its different, but it doesnt really matter.

Shatter + fire is obviously going to be THE pvp spec of choice. Beyond making sure you get shatter and firepower, there are a lot of choices.

I have a level 29 hunter and I played one of the premade 60s on the PTR for about 3 weeks so I've played one some (including a decent amount of time in BG's). So while I don't have end game raiding experience with one I am somewhat familair with the class.

And I meant to word that response:

with a +25 agi has 66 agi (wihch is like 1.15% crit and 132 ap) and 310hp.


My main problem is that I would never take a ranged weapon (which is only good for stats) away from a hunter that wanted it but on multiple occasions I've had swords/daggers taken from me because a hunter wanted them for their stats. When playing my hunter characters I probably melee'd 5% of the time, if that. It's just lame that they feel entitled to every melee weapon in the game, even though it's just a stat slot to them, over classes that actually depend on those weapons to do damage.

if you -only pve- you can potentially get better stats with 1h weapons.... but for pvp there's no substitue for 2h weapons. grab a ashkandi or barb and go raptor strike a mage to the dome for 1900 and feel good about yourself
