for the rank 10 set you WILL have to rebuy it it seems because it is a completely different set not just updating the current.

and maybe its diff for low levels. but i definitely cant buy the hwl weapons now that im rank 13. and i know ppl who have gotten to 11-14 who are now less than 11 and cannot buy the mounts

Pvp armor is second priority for me now. We should down Cthun in the next week or so. I want the tier 3 warrior armor. The measure of the value for a warrior is in the tanking gear, not pvp gear. Tier 2.5 is perfect for dps and OT.

There is an abundance of warriors looking for guild with end-game weapons on my server (Sulfuras, Ashkandi, GM weaps). While I an officer in one of the top alliance guilds, the worth of a warrior is dependent on tanking gear. Hell we got better equipped tanks than me applying to us now (full wrath, thunderfury, elementium bulwark, etc). I need to validate my place in my guild by staying ahead in tanking gear.

Other classes has been right all along, warrior is a tank. We are dps viable, but tanking should take precedence over it. I will probably retire my ashkandi and pvp armor into my bank and respec protection (with new stam talent) for 1.11.

well yes obviously as far as guilds go and recruiting, the tanking gear takes priority. but i was just talking about dps/pvp stuff :p i wish the game had more pvp to do right now since thats basically the whole reason i started playing and i guess still somewhat why i play. i never even care about the tier gear i just take it when im given it.

im just lucky ive been in two guilds who have been through Nef in BWL and one working on AQ now and ive never put 1pt into prot. just been lucky that we've have enough tanks in the guild and ive been able to carry my weight dps wise

Twin Emps got a pretty steep learning curve. 12-14 minute fight, one of two tanks die = gg.

We got a dps warr like that in our guild with sulfuras. Sure he out dps all the rogues, mages, warlocks, hunters. His top in dkp and whoring for the first Dark Edge of Insanity. But he gets no respect as a warr. He passes on tanking gear, whores completely to upgrade from a Sulfuras to Dark Edge of Insanity. To be a tank is more than just gear, it's about leading the raid usually.

yea i mean i MT all the 20 mans and stuff to make up for it when i have to and im geared enough to offtank anything in bwl etc. im also lucky to never be in a guild where we've used dkp. i dono never had a problem with it in either guild. as long as im never needed to MT its not really a problem.

as long as i can hold aggro and tank fine when i am asked to (since we have plenty of tanking warriors) no reason for them to not respect me as a warrior

Do raiding guilds ever take shadow priests that any of you have heard of. I don't have one yet, but I'd like to get my priest to 60 before the expansion comes out to pimp out my blood elf.
I know that MC+ gear for priests is aimed at healing, but is it entirely unheard of to stay shadow spec for PvP and then healing in raids?

most of the raiding guilds on my server take one shadow priest to buff the warlock damage.
In my experience, only priests that have longevity with a guild are allowed to take that spot and focus on +damage gear

not sure exactly what you asked but its been like that for a long time that you cant buy the stuff (even 12,13,14) once you deranked.

what the system was originally like when it was first introduced was that you could not USE an item if you deranked..but that quickly changed to you can use but not buy once you derank

well yea thats what i mean. now its gonna costs pts to get the same out of them. and i think what i read was that windfury now without talents is 600AP and windfury 1.11 WITH full improved talents is like 500AP. plus it cant proc off stormstrike now i read :p

maybe it was overpowered however they are pigeonholing hte class. right now i have a couple good friends playing shamans and their playstyle is night and day between all of them.

2 guys i pvp with 1 is straight up melee with HWL axe, stormstrike, windfury etc. the other guy is what we call "mage spec" and is complete caster and hits as hard as well a mage. i thought it was kind of nice that their specs were more unique than most classes and that patch is gonna force ppl out of the melee shaman idea.

Does anyone else have a Logitech G15 Keyboard? The test realm has support for it now and it's pretty cool. In a battleground it shows your killing blows, deaths and honorable kills as well as the rank of the last person you killed, time in and balance (horde/alliance). It also flashes a message when you get a whisper and who it's from, and shows all of your stats (agi, sta, crit%, dmg range, ap, armor, etc.). Does some other stuff too but I forgot and now the test realm has a 1000 person queue so I'm not bothering to log in and check.

go to the bottom and download the beta client. uninstall your current version, and install that. then go to vent setup, and click on the last tab, and enable G15 support. Then go into the profile manager for G15, and set the lcd panel to only display the vent info when wow is playing.

anyone ever kill the twilight corrupter in duskwood for the scepter quest? our guild just randomly tried him tonight after killin Lethon, but we didnt really know how to work the fight and kept getting pwnd

Yeah he hits like a f***ing freight train, plus he mind controls which you cant break if I remember correctly. Plus the mobs around him are on Broodlord timers almost. Me and a bunch of other BWL geared guys were exploring one day, and ran across him, and he owned us really quickly.

I saw Drama (the first guild to kill Nef. on WoW) take a 40+ raid and down him, so other than having a lot of ppl, I really dont know.

On a side note, I rolled a 98 to win Broodlords head, and lost to a 98, damn if i dont want that epic cooking recipe
