we have server transfers open atm. totally screwed up the server. SR has been open since the first day and has been an awesome server to be on. high po. lots of world pvp and city raids even up to the transfers with instant bg qs and a lot of guild progression.

however now a bunch of the guilds left..almost all horde side and not alliance too when the transfers opened. buncha guilds split up between servers, merged, etc and a lot of people i know quit.

not sure what im gonan do now. stupid transfer screwed this server up

a few good friends of mine in my original guild rolled ppl on that server both horde and alliance.

dono if he kept the same name but rogue named Shinjiru came from horde SR to alliance on hakkar and started his own guild

There must still be a way. I get tells in the trade channel from people across both continents, not just from people in a capital.

still dono what im doing. its weird. basically all of the good guilds both horde and alliance transfered to Korgath besides the best guild on each faction.

so its kinda like stay with this top guild on a somewhat dead server now or take my changes on a new one

I have a question about the recruit-a-friend rpgram that one of you may be able to answer. I have fiends who are interested in this, but the WoW website doesn't say what's required to upgrade to a full account. Do they have to buy a retail copy or can they just start giving Blizzard some money since they already have the downloadable client? Does anyone know all the details?

that also was changed. trade channel is common now. all 3 cities share it.

If a person is flying and they originated in a capital city, they can stay in that trade channel until they land, which may also look like they are sending tells from odd locations.

they will install the game with your disks and use a trial key that the "recruit a friend" thing will give you.

then they will have to go to the store and buy a retail copy to get a full cd key.

they wont have to reinstall or anything. and after they buy the game from the store, they will get another month for free.

^^ I don't think so, I've gotten tell from the trade channel from people in instances. I've just never thought to ask how they're monitoring the trade channle when not in a city.

Blizzard has apparently clarified the Recruit-a-friend FAQ: "...they can convert their trial accounts into full accounts online" It looks like they don't have to purchase a retail copy. Anyone want a trial key?
