Is there a way to tell the timezone of a server, particularly a new server? I want to reroll on one that has its major raiding/peak hours during say 8am-6pm EST. Anyone have a suggestion, such as a Euro or Oceanic server or something?

yeah, I want to make a move cause my old server, kael'thas was just complete crap as far as progression goes. Server started in october 05 and just last week the first horde guild downed nef, and only 3 horde guilds have downed rag, my guild was working on it but its just so slow going. I could prolly reroll and be in the same place I was on KT in a month or two.

If i were yall, I'd transfer to a good server.

It took me roughly 4 months of nightly raiding in MC when it first came out to get full Giantstalker.

Once AQ opened, it took me two weeks to get my alt completely epic'd out in MC/BWL gear.

According to the wow census page the EU servers are 6 hours ahead of US servers, so would these be a better choice if I wanted to raid earlier, like in the morning EST?

well when I raided in L2 with a bunch of germans etc. our raids at 10 pm est would be the next day at 6-8 am for them. so ya. if you wanted to raid early morning, you'd prbably have to find some english speaking euro's

We cleared last MC in 2.5hrs I think. Downing Ragnaros before sons. Then went straight to BWL and knocked that out in about the same time. All in all with travel and piss/beer breaks it was something like 5.5hrs for both instances.

That's decent time right? =X

Haha damn.

Last night was my guild's first attemt at Domo (we're new-ish). We got down to 1 Elite and 1 Healer on the third (gah) try before giving up. We'll definitely get him next week, but it was a pain. The run took slightly longer than 2.5 hrs

But fuck it, I got my first piece of Felheart for all of 1 DKP. I should have 16 for next week, and all the other locks in my guild have 5 or 6 Felheart or better, so it's going to be a tier 1 bonanza (I'm basically skipping the second half of tier 0. Fuck that .5 shit).

lol i skipped Tier1 (I was low dkp when my guild was stuck on Vael...MC was farm status but other rogues wanted to complete their sets), now im thinking of skipping most of T2. =X

I'm usually competing with 5/8 BF combat'ish dagger rogue in DPS, and I always beat out our 6/8 and 7/8 BF sword rogues oO

ya I'd go 5/5 DD and 3 AQ pieces and fill in those pieces with BS first.... after you get uyou 3/9 then start adding whatever BS you can. the BS pieces are retard. 23 stam 66ap 1 hit 1 crit ... ? my god

yea the first time i tried eve i got pretty overwhelmed and just stopped after the trial.

I've been reading thru the wiki and its got lots of useful info i had no idea about that first time thru.

On a plus note, got the head of Broodlord, and almost out of hated . Thank god we have BWL on rapid clear for that 5 hr timer quest.

A guild corporation flying a titan would be the wow equivelent of having the Orange Hammer a, thunderfury and full T2 on the same warrior. has nothing comparable in wow.

I've always maintained that AQ40 was a stupid instance and had those knuckleheads at Extreme listened, then maybe their guild wouldn't had imploded .

the dmg range is about the EXACT same as my hwl sword/axe.

but itd gain like 30 AP, 1 crit, its .2 seconds faster and orc racial cant hurt i guess

I posted this before earlier....I dunno if anyone can decipher what im trying to explain. This is what i posted on blizzard's UI forum in reference to SCT.

I am not a World of Warcraft player, but I would like to comment on it

I have a friend who plays it more than I thought playing a game was possible, and I didnt realize why it consumes so much of his time until I sat down and actually watched a little of the game and asked questions about it... The game looks amazing, the characters, the online community, its all such a good simulation of a real life community I can see how he doesnt do other things, he just sits there and plays... Again, I dont know much about it, but i can appreciate a great game when I see one...
