you should take a trip to Asheville

go out on the Blue Ridge Parkway and possibly visit the Biltmore Estate ( http://www.biltmore.com/ )

I can recommend the best local places to eat and drink and a few hotels

I know that Myrtle Beach has such a stigma associated with it, but my wife and I went here =>http://www.myrtlebeachmarriottresort.com/ for a trade show back in April, and the place was really nice. I would suggest that once you arrive, only leave the hotel for dinner. Order room service for breakfast, chill out by the pool in one of the many hammocks, and then go out for dinner. Matter of fact, we are going back in a few weeks just to get away for the weekend, and WE HATE MYRTLE BEACH for many of the reasons listed here => ?topic=480670.

I did too, they were supposed to close for good last summer, guess it was just a ploy to get more people to visit lol.
