In case anyone doesn't check the Charities thread bumped by Supplanter, he pointed out that Christine endorsed a charity with a Million Dollar Challenge running right now, through Sunday. I'm deeply touched by your loss, zorthage. Christine and I were friends early in college and while we went our separate ways, I'm really sad to hear of her death. Has an obituary been published?

I'm so sorry for Christine's loss, especially for Matt and her family. She's had some hard times in her life and it's tragic that she died now, when she was happy. She loved it out in Colorado, and she had so many plans for her future with Matt.

I first met Christine in 2003 when we were freshmen. Over the years our friendship has grown, and even though we lived apart we have always kept in touch. The last time I saw her was for two days in September when I visited Colorado. Looking at the pictures breaks my heart, but I hope some day I can look at them and smile and think about the good times we had through the years.

- riding in the car, blasting Trans Siberian Orchestra or the Wolfpack fight song

- annual camping trip in the Blue Ridge mtns when we'd cruise the parkway during the day and smoke Black & Milds at night

- COFFEE at Global Village

- picking out clothes together

- walking down Hillsborough St. in the snow

RIP Christine, you will always live in my memory. I promise to never forget the way you lived. I promise to make my own life better so that I can live for the both of us. I love you and will miss you forever.

Fucking crazy. I really regret not talking to he more since I left Raleigh, and now I'll never have the chance. She was really an awesome friend and I will always miss our conversations. I can't even imagine how hard it is for you.
