the headliner starts at 9:30 if it's not a friday or saturday show, which is awesome if you're a working stiff who has to be up early. and even weekend shows don't require your whole night to be planned around it. on top of that it's an incredibly well run venue with awesome sound

Here's the vid of their performance. Questlove was on drums for them. Seemed a bit awkward at first as they were figuring out the timing with a live drummer, but quickly came together for a pretty uniquely cool performance. Good stuff.

So I've been listening to "Coffee" whenever Echoes Radio played it, and I'm honestly surprised that Sylvan Esso is from NC rather than, say, England, where most of the good chillout producers are from.

Then again I also listened to a couple of their other songs and they definitely sound American, but then I would have guessed NYC.
