^ They basically flipped the cost of training and the mount. Thus, now the training is expensive and the mounts are cheap. The idea is that you can now cheaply get many mounts since all the investment is in the training.

how does this affect free mounts for warlocks?

I am pretty sure that Paladins and Warlocks gain 150 riding skill as soon as they finish their lvl 60 mount quest(s).

I wonder if they are right in assuming that if you buy the lvl 40 riding skill pre patch for 20g you will still have it post patch and be able to buy a mount for 10g. It seems like that would make more sense. I woulden't care but NCSUGimp's alt is close to 40.

Well, thanks to Naxx we are skipping AQ40 (don't shoot me, I am just a guild member) so BF is the "best" that I have available. And they have already agreed to give out two top tanks the first shot at tier 3, so us rogues get to sit back and twiddle our daggers for a little bit.

Really, skipping AQ40 is a pretty decent move. Excluding armaments, most of the drops on the first FOUR bosses is garbage. Decent stuff doesn't start dropping until Huhu and the AQ sets are really hit/miss.

Our guild basically cleared up to Sartura until Naxx came out. Then, we started Naxx and could kill Razuv and Anub. Problem was that we didn't have enough ppl showing up and when we recruited, we got ppl shouldn't have been in BWL let alone Naxx due to gear. So, we have gone back to AQ40 to get us a bit more geared and ready since it is not AS bad in there as Naxx. Took < a month to get to CThun and we HOPE to have him down this week.

skipping any AQ boss except visc,(if you are horde you shouldnt even skip him) is really gimping yourself for naxx


AQ Set loot is the best way to quickly gear up the people that need the dps gear. you arn't sitting there each week disenchanting that stormrage chest over and over again, instead you are quickly going down the line of dps classes and maxing out parts they need.

many fights in Naxx are timed, and dps is extremly important. Patchwerk, Thaddius, Loatheb all require doing millions and millions of damage in a few minutes.

generally, healers can skip AQ and beable to heal Naxx fights, but your dps has got to go there to be productive later in naxx.
