I'm telling you people, Ph34|2 the 20F/31A Mage.

I consistently beat, any class, including Pally's that are 4 levels higher than me.

Warlocks aren't nothing to mess with, but you have to understand, I am specced to pwn all TYPES of casters! Since warriors are terrible at PvP right now, I only have trouble against pet users when my poly *fails* Otherwise, there is no problem, my DPS is NASTY and remove lesser curse is so sweet too.

I'm a lowbie to most targets I acquire, and yet... I am the last one standing. If I lose a fight, I don't die, I poly and blink. See this pisses off alliance more than anything else in the world. They simply cannot kill me, and their bounty hunters double in numbers. I always *wave* and *rude gesture* at them as I run to safety, or into even more mobs, or into horde brethren. I can just picture them sitting at their computers cursing my name, and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Yesterday I killed 5 alliance players in a row near the Wetlands, and then a level 46 mounted Hunter and a level 33 Pally came to whoop up on me. They didn't attack me though, they stood near me, saluted me, and waited for me to regenerate. It was a sort of respect that I've never recieved from alliance fags. Then I polyed the mounted hunter, pwned the 33 pally in about 5.6 seconds, and promptly lost to the hunter, but of course I didn't die.... I simply polyed and blinked away.

God I love this game.

Winning a duel does not always mean someone dies... Winning a duel is when you have outlasted and outsmarted your opponent to your best of abilities. If you are 9 levels higher than me, which the 46 mounted hunter was, I have no shame in polying him after I am oom, and I clearly cannot win the fight.

Also, way to blantantly overlook that it was a 2 vs 1 fight, gg dim alliance fag.

I don't see the difference in what you said about divine shield vs. poly/blink. If one is being a pussy that the other is too. And feign death for that matter. Which I am a hunter and I know if I use it it means that I know that I am going to lose and I am trying to squeeze my way out of seeing a spirit healer. Any idiot can poly their way out of a fight and run, or divine sheild, or even feign death, or even a stun and run. Just because you poly'ed and ran doesn't make you "the man" worthy enough to brag that you ran away from a fight whether you were outmatched or not.

And Mages are good in pvp....every class is good in pvp..some just have strengths and some have weaknesses. If you think a class is bad then maybe you need to learn to use them better. You can't fight the same way with one class against every other class. It doesn't work that way folks.

Ya, I don't disagree with divine shield, I disagree with Pally's high DPS compared to warriors.

They would be a more balanced class with a little less DPS.

haha Quinn, I actually "never" use my 30min cooldowns b/c that is just crap, although for warriors it does help. I could win a lot more fights w/ it, but I hate using it w/ the 30min cooldown, b/c when they come back, well, i won't have it and here comes the ownage. The 30min cooldown in berserker stance for like 75-90% crits is crazy. I have used that before w/ about 80 rage, and an execute critted for 3200. It's the getting them to 20% health that's the harder part.

there's a dev posting on warriors taht are showing us getting some major buffs. I'd imagine it will be put into place within the next month or so, especially before battlegrounds. I'll be doing tons of instance runs for now anyways to get my valor set pieces and helping groups out. It won't be as nice though having an epic mount chasing down 60's when they have a better chance to win anyways, but damn i'll be able to run away fast 112% speed increase over running for the win, or loss rather.

btw, in regards to mounts..., save your carrot (i know ppl that trashed it) b/c it's actually 5% faster, and in combination w/ that and mithril spurs you get a 11-12% speed increase. My boots have a +7 stamina increase on them, so i have some other plate boots that i equip only on my mount that have the spurs.

As for dueling: Its not an empirical measure of anything because all the classes are designed to counterweight each other. Take your rogue vs a mage, for instance, and how easy it was (or so you said) for you to disrupt and dispatch Iskander (Shrike) where as a Shaman would most definitely rearrange your life.

This game is designed to be played in groups, not solo. The only function a duel has is to serve as a way to practice pvp skills against different classes and gauge your weaknesses, not come up with a "OMFG X IS STONGER THEN Y CAUSE Y BEAT HIM WITHOUT A WEAPON LOLERCAUST!"

Thats ironic as this game has the worst exp split (group wise) in any mmorpg ive ever played. The only thing worse was AC1 before they altered the fellowship exp ratio. Unless you are just referencing PvP in which case ill agree this game isnt an FPS.

Pallys are arguably the lowest dps class in the game. At lvl 40 when everyone else keeps taking big leaps in dps pallys get left behind.

IGE has been paying hundreds of chinese guys like 50 cents an hour to farm 10+ hours a day since day one. btw, out of game gold sales eventually shit on the economy for regular players without enough gold sinks in game.

It is the second most important profession in the game behind enchanting.
