It doesn't really matter for you, but there are only about 3 viable mage specs in today's game.

The end all be all raiding spec. If you're raiding and not spec'd like this, quite frankly, you are fucking up :

Okay someone convince me to come back to the World (of Warcraft). I recently grew bored of the quests of go get this bring it here then go get something else and bring it here or the PUG where half the team doesn't pay attention to what's going on.

I think I might sign back on when the expansion comes out but I need some convincing. Now that I have my 360 and a huge TV to play it on it's hard to push myself to sit in front of the computer in my office versus my coach with a wireless controller.

However I am working on building a box that will play on my tv but I hate spending so much on a computer when my 360 does it all for me now. Any thoughts?

^ i got bored of my rogue, raiding, and overall morons. I'd sign on casually to pvp but that started to get lame as well. Reactivated a friends account with a pimped out warrior and now i go crazy in BG's with shit like 20 KB's and 1-3 deaths. And priests follow me around always healing making me feel god-mode. Renewed my interest in the game some...especially trying to tank shit screwing around in instances with old friends.

So I nabbed the level 20 claws from the vendor and put +4 on them. It rocks. Weapons in the 20s are too damned expensive with all the twinkage of WSG.

You missed arcane ice spec. Sure the elementalist is more powerful but I can almost match the burst damage of a fire spec with this spec. I also use this for soloing a lot.

You might disagree but I solo a lot, and pvp a lot. This setup has saved my ass more than you can imagine. I don't do as much as a burst dmg fire spec, but the counterspell helps me stop casters, the insta cast lets me insta sheep, or hit them with ice. This fucks melee's completely especially rogues. If I get you slowed it's over.

I like a setup where it doesn't take all your mana to kill someone and you can keep fighting. Fire spec you're mana is GONE once you bursted. Then you have no means or escape. It's an all or nothing spec. Mine gives me every possible chance of getting away. I'm the mage that aoe's your charge from further than you can cast. I'm the guy you can't catch up to kill.

That's my play style at least. Sure... anyone can run up and kill me if they go all out but I've turned entire pushes back solo or held them back long enough for reinforcements to arrive. You can't say that with elemental or fire spec.

its gotta be reversed. They banned everyone with the raid ID. so anyone that went in to turn stuff in, got summoned down without the terrain edit, etc.

Btw, Cthun to OR is like Rag to most, only boss in a big boring shit hole worth killing. Also, cthun trash more annoying and takes longer then zone in-> emps w/ visc

well yea i agree the cthun trash does suck (only as in being annoying..not hard anymore) but they should be clearing skeram through and including cthun (not inclu visc and ouro) in like less than 3 hours with the gear they have if not 2.5 hours. getting banned isnt worth saving 2 hours in a night imo.

and everyone else whose had it on farm has to put up with it just to see cthun

someone breaks into a house (hacks through MPQ files) and then calls their friends who in turn come in (get summoned) and take money illegally (via loot) from a place they are not supposed to be, even if they didnt break the window/pick the lock whatever. pretty sure blizzard is going to say that both parties are guilty.

That comparison is pointless because it does NOT assume that fact that its legal to take everything from the house as long as I use the front door and chop up (farm/kill/clear) every re-re in there first right.

Here's how it works, the people that actually had the terrain edit (at least 3, warlock + 2 clickers) have absolutely no ground to stand on, and I'm sure it was more than 3. They hacked, plain and simple, and I don't see their permaban being lifted. For the rest of the people, best they could hope for is whatever the penalty for exploiting/skipping content is. The problem is actually proving to Blizzard who had the terrain edit and who didn't, and short of the people who had it actually stepping up (which, knowing the greedy nature of most people that play this game, won't happen), they'll just ban everyone anyway just to be sure.

its not a paladin thing. Its a numbers game, just hard to recruit good, geared people on the horde side.

I think the assumption here was a warning w/ 3days. not a no warning disconnect + ban when we werent even on kalimdor (IE not in the act). As for ppl saying the trash isnt that bad/doesnt take that long. The trash in that instance goes from the door till cthun. And then you end up with more then half his drops doing downgrade/alt/forced/shared


and yes i am in OR, no i did not get banned, and no its not a moral objection, i've just been working alot lately and havent been going on trash runs.
