for PVP theres hardly anything i really want to pick up in naxx past what i already have. may trinket off sapph, maybe the cape as well.

other than that i want my ring of the qiraji fury from aq40 as well as a dark edge and im pretty set. heck even the dark edge is barely an upgrade in PVP

a lot of guilds are farming naxx .... we spend two days doing everything to sapph. granted we're on sapph and kt now.


we've one shot 4h every single week we killed him after the first. gothik is the only boss that gives us any modicum of trouble other than sapph.

there are plenty of dps upgrades in naxx over aq for a dps warrior good sir. i suppose the 100 hp on warlord legs is better but to each his own. I'd rather kill things faster, especially since you have druids to hold flags, and priests healing you

well in that regard. the blind proc on DEoI is absoulty amazing. and is a very solid upgrade over the pvp weapons.


I'd probably take MoM for now and then upgraded ashbringer in the expansion.

possibly the gladiator 2h's if the ashbringer is less than expected.

Band of Unnatural ownage
Kiss of the Spider
Slayers Crest
Shoulder enchant
The cape of whateever (forget which one is the melee dps one)

theres alot in there for everyone really.


Also, Ring of QF is overrated for warriors, it gives you the same dps stats as quickstrike, just 40 more hp. Your best combo is band of unnat and master dragon slayers.

That'll be cool to see what you can accomplish with an undergeared group that knows the fights. I got the impression though from Jaerba's post on EJ that you're losing several people who are taking this chance to quit the game completely. Thus, new people.

I may just roll a new alliance char somewhere just to play through 1-60. Its just boring as fuck right now. 40man raids are pretty tired, our GM is a faggot, and none of these guys like to pvp.

we are but we had a raid roster for around 90 ppl due to raid stacking for certain naxx fights (gg 14 warriors). We have between non-banned ppl and 2nd account alts probalby 20-30 decently geared (tier2+) chars. This includes a main tank, and a patch/thad OT, a few fury warriors with decent tank gear (wrath), 6-7 tier2-3 healers, etc. A few players are quiting, mostly those that were leaving soon anyway. I am fairly sure we are losing our rdx modder though (sorry EVERYONE). In all honesty, get to 60 = ez, running 3-4x onys = easy (if you can deal with DBs its so easy to 10 man). No real gear checks issues till vael (dps) and then emps (dps) since resist gear is just crafted/can fudge rag. It should be interesting. I might sell off my 60s though just to start over

to me, dps and pvp upgrades are a little different in some areas. We are on thaddius so we've seen a lot of good stuff but im real particular about what i use in PVP. I value stam a lot.

I understand a lot of things in there are upgrades dps wise, (and some sick ones at that) however PVPwise for me there really arent that many things(i listed basically everything that I would consider a PVP upgrade). Im a big stam fan in PVP as long as i can keep other things balanced. (If i can crit thigns for 3k with 5800 HP i dont care about critting them for 3200 with 5100HP)

First off i think you were looking more from a fury warriors perspective . Master dragonslayers is not very attractive for me, its a downgrade from quickstrike for me as a MS warriors in PVP honestly. I am already at my hit cap in PVP and PVE dps (usually 1 or 2 over even without a drake fang talisman) so i would lose a crit and gain a non-useful hit. Comparing band of unnatural forces in pvp(yes id love it for dps) id take ring of the qiraji fury. The slot i would be upgrading is the aq20 ring that has 22AP, 1 crit, 14 stamina. I only lose 20 HP instead of 140 and it is only a 12 AP difference. (140 HP > 12 AP).

I already wear girdle of the mentor and wristguards of vengeance so i wasnt counting them.

Once again, kiss of the spider is cute and all. But for MS its not a big deal. I lose 1crit all the time, and gain an on use ability that isnt extremely useful for me in PVP and is not up all the time.

MoM, yea yea i wasnt including it since i wont kill KT before expansion. I have HWL axe. IF i choose to upgrade, not including KT, the dark edge is the only weapon id even care to upgrade too. and even then i lose .05% crit, lose 160 HP to gain a little top end and the proc..but hey it matches by gear perfectly

I included the saph cape and the slayer's crest in my few pvp upgrades i want from naxx. and of course its a given id take the shoulder enchant upgrade.

LPoC and PAR i would both love to pick up for PVE dps but i wouldnt wear either in PVP. PAR from my conq chest, i lose +def, i lose over a dodge, i lose .2% crit, i lose 130 HP, i lose a 10 rage reduced cooldown on intimidating shout to gain a hit that i dont need and 20 AP. not worth it for PVP.

LPoC i dont lose much stat wise (100HP) to pick up a nice 40AP upgrade. However depending on my PVP suit i either wear gloves for my PVP 3 piece (legs, boots, gloves to give me 200HP and -5s to intercept) or just legs and boots with gaunts of annhilation to give me at least the +200HP set bonus.

In either case, replacing my warlord's legs then results in either 300HP loss or 100 HP and no intercept reduction, both of which are very useful in PVP.

Up to and including sapph (not KT) this is my PVP wish list :p. Its just freaking disgusting for MS PVP:

i was going from a fury view on some of that (seriously, try casting when your getting hit 3-4 times every 2 seconds).

but i can see how alot of thats not as useful for MS. The sad part is i no longer have my mega leet healers n such to let me get away with pvping fury .

i just started raiding about 2 weeks ago and joined a newly formed guild, we downed domo last night on our second attempt as a guild and had our first crack at rag. (we only had 35 people and we are geared like a guild who has only been raiding for a few weeks) i took this screenshot before our second attempt, I thought it was worth sharing...



we got him to 60% which i guess is decent considering it was the first time a lot of us had even seen rag and going into the raid we didn't really expect to down domo.

not very significant but i feel like we are doing pretty good considering most of us just started raiding a few weeks ago and no one is especially geared.

sure 4h is easy, now thats theres a few strats out there. They sucked when ppl first got to them and there were 20-30 strats people were trying out because they seemed like they should work. I know we went though like 5-6 before we ended up with the one we have. I think EJ went though 10 or so. And yes, i know they have been killed by atleast 4 differant strats.

for 4h we kill morgrain and korthazz first, then blomo and zelik, using 8 tanks. took along time to learn but the first time we killed off morgrain and korthazz we got the kill. now its 1 or 2 dry runs for new people and then a kill.

we spent a good 3-4 weeks doing the 4 down at once strat (that i know a few guilds have pulled this one off, no safe zone, just a constant rotation). We switched to the 2-1-1 strat and took about a week with it.

Im on altar of storms. Fairly new pvp server. Pretty much one horde guild has cleared BWL (im in it) and the other 2 are stuck on razorgore. Transfers can transfer in on the 22nd i think. But it's low pop and you'll have a tough time getting groups together in lower stuff but Outlands should be peaceful to quest in.

I am on Lightnings Blade, we have one of the top US horde guilds which surprisingly has surpassed all the alliance guilds that used to whoop its ass. They are working on Sapph now. We are known more for our pvp, super ego players, and several well known videos though lol.

I am located on Eredar. I am alliance, but we do have a horde guild that has been on Sapphiron for a few weeks now: Paradox. Bastards got an Ashbringer on first kill and Edgewalker got it of course.

I thinks its medium-high population right now. Much more alliance than horde, and paradox is the only real horde force on the server.

No clue I am not in aftermath simply because I hold 2 jobs one of which conflicts with raid times, not sure how long you have been around but do you remember Lethargy? Largest guild on the server in its time running between 4 and 500 people, I was/still am guild master although now its pretty much just me and some buddies, pretty much every horde guild got better after we disbanded including aftermath which took all my top guys in and that pushed them over the hump .
