Keyloggers suck.


One of our main tanks had both bindings of the windseeker plus all the mats for the quest. Before we could pull the guild together to go turn in, something mysteriously happened to both the bindings. He scanned his system after opening a GM ticket about the missing bindings and found a keylogger on his machine. Now he's trying to get Blizz to restore all the mats and bindings.

our First Dark Edge goes to a fury warrior "just so paladins could not get it"

one week later during a major abuse of "item swapping" , telling gms items were misslooted and needed to be transfered, even ancient items, he trades dark edge to some casual warrior we had for drake fang and CTS. Initial warrior then ebays, and casual warrior with our only dark edge transfers off server.


also our rival guilds first ashbringer goes to a paladin, then that paladin says he is bored with raiding and gquits to form the guild "the ashbringer" and now sits infront of IF dueling all day.

Bear for MT?

we've used a bear for the 3rd OFFtank on multiple kills but i dont see any reason to use a druid MT unless you have absolutely no warriors in guild

your mt gets smacked enough that aggro isnt an issue. rolling ignites is really the only way to pull aggro on patch. you're just hurting your raid.

now as off tank ? that's definitly debateable since high armor and hp is paramount.

i made the aggro comment since bears have greater ability to establish aggro than do warriors. since aggro in patchwerk is nil any advantage a bear would have there is nil as well.

I was assuming the decision to go with a bear mt was in the hopes that a bear would better be able able to hold aggro since your entire raid is going balls out

ok thats what i thought, just making sure. yea i was with them for awhile when they were called OG. Katak is a moron, Cyrk was a much better leader.

I still like Mondo a lot, always got along with him. And Idorac is..well Idorac. He was the warrior class leader of my first guild back in the day through MC and BWL. (basically all of the people from that guild (the cabal) that still play are in aristoi)

Porcha and some other people had talked to me about Aristoi but the guild was being weird with a group App since only a few of the people would have been able to raid a lot at that time.

Rogues: I need some spec help. I have Pers/CHT 7/8 BF and I am looking for a good raid/PvP hybrid spec. I have been combat and I was consistantly in the top three in damage but I am finding combat to be a pain in PvP. I have respecced to SF with 11 in combat (Gouge,SS,Imp Backstab and 3/5 Precision) and then the first two talents in Subltey. It seems to work so far in PvP and we don't do Naxx until tomorrow night. Just wondering is there is something else that is better that I am overlooking.

1, what race are you?
2, if you learn how to play it, combat daggers is /better/ for pvp since those clothies you're hoping to 1 shot will still get hit just as hard, but if they don't go down as fast, you'll have far better and more consistant dps to burn them down. blade flurry will fuck up someone trying to cast on you if your stun cooldowns are up. adrenaline rush with a perditions is so clutch on returning the flag. stealth, sprint to them, cheap shot, AR, backstab the fuck out of em, kidneyshot, backstab some more, dead.
3, you could try my build, but you'd need a new MH. something that hits hard for sinister strike. claw of the black drake, viskag, sand polished hammer, nightmare blade, cts, aqr, what have you. then go 30-21. good offhands for this build are maladath, anubisath hammer (or whatever the 1.8 mace off aq trash is), core hound tooth. this build was pretty badass on the test realm with DFB OH and CTS/AQR MH

2. I will have to try that. Claw of the Black Drake drops like candy so I may have to nab one. Combat was okay in PvP for sustained dps but there wasn't the burst damage that people often look for in PvP.

and no swords does not compare to a combat dagger rogue of equal skill and gear human or not. especially since a combat rogue should have aged core leather gloves as well as weapon spec. making human bonus neg.

thats synonymous with "if you've got full wrath and go fury/arms, you can tank about as good as a bear in wildheart" it's absolute garbage for pve. In t1/zg gear I'm #2 or 3 on dmg meters while guy with full t2, AQR and maladath can barely muster 10th with his hemo build. raiding is all about white damage and hemo adds none

that rogue must be garbage. It takes GEAR to make hemo raid viable, but I can assure you I will be top #3 at least. No one but combat daggers used to outdps me. I can hit about 2,000 raid buffed attack power and my hemo's of course crit higher than SS's. White damage is good and all, but meh it's nothing significant enough to put you in 10th place. IIRC it took about 3 or 4 seconds for my raid to expend all 30 charges on a melee centric fight. So that's what 50-70 DPS that is because of me, 100% threat free? Not even taking into consideration that hemo does crit and add's +14 damage as well. I've seen 180+ gouges.

every 10 or 15 pages it always seems like someone tries to argue that hemo sucks, and it does suck unless you have the gear, you need AQR, rank14, or servo arm in that order. You need at LEAST 1000 unbuffed attack power. Like I said with raid buffs and earthstrike I busted 2k every time....I raided for a while with 21/0/30 and i had no problem whatsoever holding my own.

I'm not saying if you had 2 equal rogues 1 with AQR/Iblis 21/0/30 and 1 with Death's Sting/Harbringer 17/31/12? whatever combat daggers is...that hemo would win, but it's not gonna be a blowout like #10 vs #1.
