Felt like this was appropriate for this thread...

I've got a family member who scouts the Southeast region for the Phoenix Suns (use to coach with Alvin Gentry YEARS ago) and he said Marshall is HORRIBLE. Gentry never wanted him and openly campaigned against drafting him...but the GM has a Nash-like crush on him. Said he he can't guard the water boy in practice and that he'll never play as long as Gentry is there. However, this is more than likely Alvin's last year and he'll be coaching under Dantoni in LA next year.

18 point loss, and one guy fell on his face while retrieving a routine rebound. I laughed, felt bad for laughing, and then laughed some more.

Also, Dykes was ridiculous. I guess he forgot to study up on Texas before the game. He praised Chapel Hill and McAdoo continuously even while Texas was clearly dominating.
