youre wrong, read up on how it works. perhaps it is bugged atm but i got 10k honor on the PTR last week and didnt even PVP that much.

thatd be like 2-3 weeks of CASUAL pvp to get teh weapon it took me 5 months to get. so i dont wanna hear anyone complaining about these weapons being hard to get it :p

10K honor, or honor points? In the old system, 10k honor was pretty easy to grind out in a day.

I am very interested though in what your average BG win equates to in honor points.

^^ blue said the honor gain on the PTR was directly representative of the honor in yesterday's patch.
in fact they had to slightly up the cost of items because they were too easy to get (ppl getting HWL weapons in a week)

i have not checked into it being bugged however, which is possible.

41/5/5 - endless rage, cruelty, 2imp bloodrage+3TM

33/18/0 - up to mortal strike, and 2/2 2nd wind in arms, up to 3pts in enrage in fury (no TM)

33/15/3 - up to mortal strike and 2/2 second wind. up to 5/5 BS, 3 in TM

33/15/3 - same as above in arms but 4/5 imp BS, piercing howl, 3/5 enrage and no TM

all of which blow compared to what i had in live before the patch :/

k, there's a blue post stating honor wasn't calculated last night and the guy has no idea why.

And my bonus honor isn't showing up at all under the estimation field.

I got a close version of my macro working. I used:

/castsequence reset=180 Amplify Curse, Curse of Agony, Curse of Agony, Curse of Agony, Curse of Agony... and so on until the character limit

This essentually emulates the functionality I had. The reset time is the colldown for Amplify Curse. Thus, unless I cast CoA a whole lot, it will cast Amplify Curse when it's avaliable and cast CoA otherwise

So... what UI's are working now? CTmod is piss poor for the actual interface. I'm basically looking for something that will let me have several rows of action bars that I can move around. The default ones you can select in the menu suck ass.

So I'm a 7/0/44 lock with a felguartd now. I respeced after the free spec to destro and my felguard reses with me. I have to say that I have never kicked so much ass. Can only fuck with pvp though.

I used Devla's compilations all through burning crusade, he just recently switched to bongos, but I stuck with trinity buttons. I'm partial to being able to hover over any button and bind it by just pressing the key I want.

^ ahahah yeah. I was having trouble with mobs I never did before because the look of my screen is so cluttered now.

What resolution are most of you playing at and what visual settings do you use to keep your computer above 50fps?

I have a 2.2 ghz 64 bit Athlon 3700 San Diego, 2 gb ram, geforce 7900 GT. Looking for ways to optimize my settings beyond in game settings.

we're a 4H guild and downed Anub'rhekan in record time, warlock topped the dps, but my god, people have the damnest time dispelling poisons on faerlina without mods

Its very interesting to see how warlocks are now. I have always been a DD lock (heavy destro) and loved seeing big numbers. With the advent of this patch, warlocks finally are doing what they were intended to: debuff/DoTs. Basing DoT's +spell damage around the 15 second mark will make Affliction prime for damage, although it can be the suck against mages and priests in PvP. WTB Incinerate.

This will be the last build I will try, though. I will first go SF, then try Felguard if SF is no good. In expansion, I may try 0-21-40 for the most brutal DD lock build ever (assuming I won't be Imp Bitch in raid ).

I don't raid a lot on my lock nor PvP, since I have my priest in endgame, and twink in BG's. I was heavy Destro for a long time (while leveling and early BG's) and I loved the big crits. Switched to SM/Ruin which I liked a lot b/c I could crank out a lot of raid dmg.

I was always curious about Demonology, and I respecced Felguard last nite, and I love it. Soul Link is awesome, I am virtually indestructible.

EPOXY rocks man. Tons of mini mods in it. Yes that package has the bindage button feature to do that. It seems you can also do some level of scripts that are just handled differently.

However, I would like to say it took me 2 fucking hours to configure it because they don't tell you the commands to open the damn mod interfaces.

/bob - Opens your action bar configuration. Handles your menus and bag slot views (not open bag slots). You control size of the buttons, and where they are all located. You have 10 rows you can use and any you don't use are invisable. So you can make a happy smiley face if you want.

On your bags. (right click on your bag window) It's set to auto size and sort. I removed all sorting and it then shows all your bag slots in one giant window (love that).

/icehud - This opens the targetting thing you'll see that makes you feel like you're playing quake. Some people may like it but it was in my way.

You'll notice when you cast that bars appear in your way of what's going on that tell you how long something is going to last. Never figured out how to move them but iut has to do with chrometer mod. They bugged me but I think I can use them to time frozen status etc. Only problem is they don't take into account if it's broken.

thinking about selling my account. not sure yet. depends on the offers.

60 orc warrior - PvE server - fury - dal rends, 400ish +def tanking set, also has the blade of shashram or whatever along with a epic trinket and ring. The rest is 5 man blues.

60 troll priest - PvP Server - All epics. Benny +55 healing, Trans pants w/ ZG enchant, +600-700 healing. All attunements. A decent PvP set is also included. Exhalted AV and ZG tribe.

45 orc hunter - pvp server - greens.

Transfer is up on all. All are horde.

I think it's pretty cool that you don't have to play an insane amount to get the gear. It just takes time now depending on how much you play.

Can't be done. You can't track cooldowns of abilities under the new system. Look at my post a few spots up and my post on the previous page to see how I ghetto rigged one of my old macros to work under the new system.


Anyway, I'd like to list the things I hate about he new patch at the moment.
1) Target of target stops working while in combat.
2) The blizzard UI raid bars can't be moved around or turned off while in combat.
3) The damned clicking noise while in groups/raids
4) The new LFG tool puts together wierd groups (e.g. 2mages and 3 rougues for LBRS)
5) I have to farm soul shards off level 52+ critters instead of 49+ critters

I'm sure I can come up with more, but that's my current top 6.

So far I think Im averaging 1000 honor/hour doing pug BGs (each of the 3 bgs) and about 50/50 win rate. Anyone else paying close attention to their honor farming rate?

4)LFG will try it's best to make a legitimate group for about 5-10m. Once you've been in queue long enough it will add classes just to fill the party. To avoid this, just remove and readd yourself to the queue every once in a while

Anyway, I'm fine with not being able to check if bloodthirst is up, I basically want to spam a button that will swing auto attack if im not auto attacking, and once im autoattacking spam bloodthirst (6s cooldown) since autoattack only needs to happen once before bloodthirst and it doesnt matter if the 2nd part is spammed, it seems like it could work. Right now I can only do it if im not in combat, if i switch mobs mid-fight, it wont auto attack for me, but once im auto attacking it will spam bloodthirst.

ideas?

While I do agree it is nice to not have to put massive time into gaining the pvp gear now, they went a bit overboard IMO. If I had grinded all the way to HW I would NOT be happy right now. You shouldnt be able to get a HW/GM weapon from only 2 days worth of pvping I am sorry but that is complete shit. From what I can tell blizzard has completely swung this game to pvp, why the fuck would I want to raid when I can get the full HW set in around a week probably. I mean gear myself out in a week, or get one piece and maybe wait 2 more to get another let me think...

^^ because both the pvp and raid gear (unless youve got a lot of naxx stuff) is easily equaled or upgraded when BC comes out. theyre doing this on purpose. it alleviates the complaints of people saying they have a disadvantage leveling to 70 because of gear. theyre 'giving' it to them before BC

but it does piss me off a ton when people are STILL complaining these weapons cost "too much". im sorry but they took 2 steps to make it easier with the old system, and have taken a HUGE step to make it easy now. i dont wanna hear about someone have to put in "5 hours a day for 2 weeks" to get hwl weapons haha
