Any rogues out there? I can't decide how to spec. I just picked up a HWL sword the other night and went combat. But now shadowstep looks really fun in pvp, and with imp backstab in the assassination tree you can get seal fate and prep which would be a great pvp dagger build... I don't know what to do.

crusader strike from 6 sec CD to 10, vengence nerfed to 15% to 10% still with 5 talant points, divine shield can be purded apparently. Got shafted hard. None of this in the patch notes.

try disabling your checksum/checksum offload. to do this open your hardware manage (right click my computer -> hardware -> select network card -> properties/advanced properties. should be a drop down list (you prob know how to get there, just being polite in case).

i found out a long time ago that the reason i DCd and have graphical issues every patch was due to this. disabling this has caused me to never have this problem since i changed the setting. hope it helps

paladin's shield wont be able to be dispelled by purge or anything like that. as far as i can tell in beta, 'mass dispel' from a priest (costing something like 1000 mana if i recall) is the only thing i know of that dispels things like pally shield and ice block in BC

I like shag's coolDown. very very simple, but very nice. also, if you have swords on a rogue, I'd go for 40-11-0. build through find weakness then go through precision.

to grandmaster,

I wouldn't worry about upgrades at this point, your gear looks pretty good, and should be good enough for the expansion PvE. Most people will only be PvE'ing in order to grind to 70 and continue pvp'ing/raiding at that point, so by then you should be able to obtain upgrades through the various instances/quests/tradeskills you'll be partaking in throughout the leveling process.

i should have bought DJ when i didn't have to spend honor. I think I have enough to get it right now, should I hold off on the chest or keep saving. I'm pretty much getting like 3k a night with the little bit that i do.

the FM chestpiece is a terrible dps chest for any spec warrior. It's only selling point is high stamina. It has low str and has some agility along with crit. Get a BP of Annihilation or a Conquerer's chest. Or if you're like me, get a plated abom ribcage.
