im pretty much tired of them overlooking priests. Every class in this game is known for some strength

Warlocks: dps, high hit points
Rogues: stealth, immobolize/dps
Druids: shapeshifting + healing + leather
Warrior: Plate, HWL weapon = game over
Hunters: good a pvp (ranged), probably shafted more on the pve end imo.
Paladins: plate, +600 healing, and immunity for like a fucking minute
Shaman: i mean really, fuck with a duel weilding enhancement shaman

priests: ..... uhh we heal... soo... yeah... we wear cloth and no pets. We have a dispellable shield and our job in 40 man AND pvp is to heal and dispell. I mean really, when was the last time you heard nerf priests?

Class balance shouldn't require lvl 70 and BC gear. Plus no 40 man content.

im just tired of it.

That's almost exactly the build I've been using since the big Paladin talent review long ago. I intend to go this way once BC comes out:

I mainly play PVE, but I started doing a LOT of Warsong over the past few months. Main role there is flag escort, obviously. I am one of the few who truly enjoy the paladin's role in the game. I know I'm not going to out-DPS anybody, but I can almost always outlast you. I surely can contribute to keeping a raid from falling apart as well. (I wish there was some kind of "wipes saved" stat I could track...) I don't have a bunch of epic gear simply because I don't have time to commit to grinding for it, so my current favorite 1H is Hand of Edward the Odd because of the instacast. It can really make a huge difference in a duel when you can heal and don't get knocked out of it. Also, having engineering to 300 is a big advantage since so many of the toys help make up for paladin weaknesses.

Oh yeah, my paladin is my one and ONLY character. Never had another, never wanted another, even after over 2 years. Most paladins I have interacted with... well, they just don't know how to get the most out of the class.

the pally that never heals isn't nearly as bad as the one who completely gears up as a healer, then decides that he wants to be retribution and completely gears up in dps gear then decides that his actual true calling is a cloth or leather class and completely gears his new main and gets away with it all b/c he's an officer

^ exactly why me and the same core of 20 or so players ive been with for over a year finally started our own guild for BC. we control every invite and everything instead of random officers, so all the retards we've had to put up with in other guilds can be weeded out, and we can just pick up all the really solid PVPers/players from other guilds we've been around to fill in any class holes.

Hyjal is sadly not open, but you can still get there from wall climbing out of the gorge in Winterspring. And there is nothing new in there, it's the same shit.

A friend and I tried to get into Karazhan by climbing out of ZG and running there, but it didn't exist. Deadwind pass was really fucked up looking, there were jagged rocks and shit sticking out of everywhere it was a bitch to navigate but I did manage to wall climb/run all the way to Blasted Lands and some other area. I've got some screenshots I'll put up when I resize them. It was really weird, none of the areas looked right and there were random statues and doodads all over the place.

Wow that AV exploit is annoying! I was standing on the Alliance Aid station thing by the general with not a horde to be seen and I was constantly battling caps.

What was smarter of them was while we were fighting Drek they kept trying to hack cap FW Relief Hut and sending us all back to FW GY and then they would hack cap that one. Ugh.

I might be interested in a TWW guild somewhere. I could transfer over my rogue, but I was also playing with the idea of rolling a pally. I know my current guild on Andorhal needs one and I've become increasingly interested in the class (since its the one I've never played).

Let me know if this gets off the ground Azaka, I still have Draklav and Cyragas at 60 so you'd have an automatic rogue and tank

I think the cap distance increase may be intentional. The alliance and the horde can do it so it's not like it's a horde only bug.

I don't know how many people will be interested in transferring, so far there's me, you, adam and gronke, but that's not enough for 25 man raids... may be able to get dan and iskander but I don't know about them.

VASHJ currently has no uber alliance guild. There have been a few attempts but nothing solid. Vile is about to change names or something and focus on that.

AQ gates are still closed
PVP is absolutely insane since there's a 4-1 horde ratio. I have yet to step in an instance and I get about 1000 honor a week.

Blizzard wants a second viable tank class. I'm sure Warriors would appreciate it also.

I have a 54 paladin in full protection spec and I've tanked upwards of BRD so far with no problems.

on trash mobs or multiple mobs at once druids can be better. from what ive seen warriors are still going to be the top choice as a main tank on a boss encounter and blizzard has stated they are going to make sure that is the case. so we'll see. that i really care

Summary:
To start this off, all footage was taken post patch 2.0 in a time period of about a week, meaning most are sporting R13 gear including me. A major part of the movie is the duels against the best of the best, which is 13 min 30 sec. into the movie.

Spec is 41/0/10, The movie shows the true potential of the Beast Within showing how not only does it make people unable to get to you, but also unable to get away, making it a very strong melee class. I use this ability frequently, as its only on a 2 Minute cooldown and coupled with the pvp trinket, its near impossible to stop.

Due to the very odd playstyle within, its hard to comment on skill, which I believe is NOT the showcase of this film, but rather it is to show what can be done. You will find me literally spamming wingclip at times, due to the increase in the TF proc rate (which can easily be seen is much higher than most) and improved wingclip that manages to save me in some tight spots.

If you have already gotten this far in the wall of text, I already love you Please don't flame, just rate the video and different playstyle, not my weapons/gear.

OK, now that video - while extremely pixellated - gives me greater hope that Paladins can truly tank well in BC. I just wish I could see more clearly exactly what the Paladin tank is doing to keep the aggro off of the caster. Seems to me that with the Shaman's constant nuking of 1000+ with each shot, that Paladin has got to be doing something pretty exceptional to remain the target.

^^^ No only do we have a taunt, but we have had a buff to increase the threat generated by holy damage by 70% and if you are a protection paladin you not only have crazy survivability on par with a much better geared warrior but you are able to put out consant low holy damage to keep agro. I know it's nothing like BC but as a ret pally I was able to tank strat, scholo, dm, lbrs and stuff in the right gear.
