Are we going to be seeing PS3 style shortages in expansions? Or will I be able to grab a copy a couple days after it comes out? I didn't preorder.

Since they're doing midnight release, and my copy from blizzard won't get there until 3 or 4pm (if that) I'm probably going to buy two copies.

blizz has been ^^ burning these discs for a month and a half now... you might see some shortages in some markets, but everyone who wants a copy will probably have one within a few weeks...

i'm kinda lucky, i only started playing recently and am leveling slowly... i'm not worried about the expansion until probably the start of february...

20 minute wait?! Even at 5am queues are always less than 2 minutes and mostly instant in my battlegroup.

I do remember being on Mal'Ganis and AV queues being so long that I would come back from class, queue up, run an afk program so I didn't get logged out, spend a whole night raiding and then if I was lucky I'd get in an AV before going to sleep. That was the suck. Even AB/WSG queues were 45 minutes or more.

I've been combat swords for 5 days now and it's pretty awesome, especially for farming/leveling. Plus sword spec seems bugged right now because I'm getting a way higher proc rate than 6%. And at least 80% of the time my Hand of Justice procs off the sword spec and sometimes sword spec proc off the HoJ extra hit. So sometimes I swing once and get 4 hits off, which isn't that common but hitting 3 times off one swing happens fairly often.


BTW, my copy of BC shipped on Thursday direct from Blizzard, supposed to arrive Monday.

supposedly swordspec is bugged in that it resets your swing timer, so you don't really see an increase in DPS. 'working as intended' tho.

You are right warlocks do die, problem is if you come across one and cant heal yourself or dont burn a pot every time you are going to die as well no matter what you do. Nothing pisses me off worse than running somewhere and all of a sudden Im dotted and know that I am dead within 10 sec and not much I can do about it.

Either my internet is slow or they released quite a large update this morning, taking me a while to download the update part which usually takes like 10 seconds.

Levelling as swords is more boring than playing a Paladin, I'm never doing it again. I'm gonna level up with Remorseless+Imp Ambush grinding. Gonna buy my dagger as soon as I can log in today.

then you're still going to be pissed... only now you'll be pissed at rogues as one stunlocks you down to 25% health and you barely have time to have your pet attack and get 1, maybe 2 dots on before you're dead...

and that's not even getting to hunters killing you before you know what's going on...

rolling lock won't stop you from being pissed off, it'll just make you the object of other player's ire and paint a big fuckin target right on your back...

and dots are in the process of nerfing anyway... at this point most people are going demon and destro...

As a hunter, i will say this.

Warlocks die first. Then Mages, then rogues, then priests (because they are cloth), then other classes as i see fit.

Warlocks are just annoying beyond belief, so if i go ahead and take them out, my life gets easier.

Mages are like paper tigers, and rogues still ahve that issue with Flare, so i don't normalyl get stunlocked.

^Rogues can tear hunters a new one, provided they get the jump on them. Once you get within an arms length of a hunter, they are as good as dead. Wing clip? psh. Crippling poison ftw. Raptor strike? hah. < every other rogue ability.

the dot nerf, so far, has only been abotu 10%... aff is still effective for leveling... but world pvp is a pain in the ass... i'll probably go demo when i'm in the mid-upper 50's... felguard, despite his nerf, is still useful in pvp, and they're probably still gonna tinker with him before they move on to nerf the next class (hunters, plz)

I agree with having a 60 hunter that after warlocks they are the most overpowered class, they acted like the nerfed them some with the whole trap cast time thing as well as reducing AP from agi from 2 each to 1. But with the new talents in marksman I was able to get my AP pretty much the same, and that trap thing its not a 2 sec cast time its a 2 sec arm time and we can do it in combat now so actually it was a buff IMO. Sure we cant jump over your head and insta trap you now, but soon as you get near us we can drop one and just wait the 2 sec for it to go off.
