I play a rogue and haven't really liked any of the rogue-specific mods. I do like the experience mod in titan to help me gauge how things are going. I also loved the allinoneinventory mod in cosmos but it doesn't work with 2, but I found an equivalent which name esapes me. I liked mobinfo also, because you knew the most common drops from enemies and their stats.

Damn, I completely forgot about 2 of my most-used addons. ItemRack is fantastic for quick-changing your armor and gear. I also really like TrinketMenu for on-the-fly PVP changes. I would give both of these addons a 10/10.

I had been using Gatherer for months, but I didn't think it currently worked with 2.0? I'd love to track where the hell the new mineral veins are in Outland. So far I've only come across a whopping 2 Fel Iron veins.

rested xp didnt start stacking again till after the expansion release as far as I can tell, all my characters have been parked in an inn and are at this point nearly rested all the way to 61 so no they had to do it the longer harder way. For those of us who take our time and do it some at a time it will probably take us half the actual play time due to rested xp

Grandmaster did you have any issues with Photek freezing your game after the last patch? I had some issues with it freezing up since the last patch. It seems to be working fine now, though.

I did but it was ag_unitframes causing the issues. When you upgrade to the newer version (curse-gaming.com) it eliminates the problems.

Question for you lua programmers out there. I'm interested in creating my own mobs etc. To my understanding Blizzard released a new development package so I thought that would be a good place to start.

Any advice on editors or good solid guides beyond what comes with the dev package?

Mainly I'm interested in user interface stuff. Player windows, casting bar, etc. Eventually I'll get into guild management systems. I've seen some good ones out there but they are lacking bigtime.

Lokken, no 300g was accepted. I offered 300 to my guildie for the paladin friend. She said yes, talked to her guild while waiting for COD and her guild and paladin channel told her that she was being taken advantage of.

I think 300 is more than acceptable for that shield.

the shield dropped for my guild mate. I immediately secured it for the paladin chica. I threw an offer to my guild mate for 300g. He accepted and COD'd it to the paladin for 300g.

1 Hr later the paladin tells me that *her* guildmates and paladins told her 300g was too much and I was trying to take advantage of her. but you've definitely answered my question, 300g is fucking fine, and I could buy it and resell it on the AH for 500g easily.

Looks like blizzard finally broke out the ole NERF stick on the 2nd most overpowered class, hunters. As soon as my warlocks hits the outland Im sure they will finally get around to nerfing it as well right before I can enjoy some easy mode pvp

As a caster, it depends on your build. Right now the only thing really available is +5 spirit. As a holy priest, were supposed to like spirit, but I tend to go for mp5 (as do most DPS casters).

I'd think Def. Spec warriors would like it as well, but melee DPS would go for agil probably.

yeah i know...when i got BC it took about 20-30 minutes to download 2.4 which was only 2. something megs. now i've been downloading 2.6 for about 30 min and i'm at 41%. I've forwarded the ports on my router, and set up the windows firewall to open the ports, but it still says i'm behind a firewall. i also keep getting "the tracker is not responding" errors, so basically what its doing is sitting there getting nothing for several minutes, then jumping about 10% almost instantly, give the "not responding" error again, do nothing for several more minutes, and then repeat the cycle. my friend was over here and he put his ip in a dmz and he still had the same problem.

You can usually grab the patch as a direct download from one of the sites listed at http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_Mirrors for future reference. There's usually 4 or 5 available when I wake up on a patch day so it works real well since the blizz downloader always gives me problems too.
