MUHAHAHA Mana SHield not blocks spell attacks. Dueled 3 warlocks yesterday, beat them all. Had to pot once (mana pot).

My mana goes away pretty quick but their dots don't eat me alive now. I have absolutely NO problem getting away from Warlocks now. I think mages just became equal to warlocks.

You can fear me 5 times, but you can't kill me as quick which means I have more of a chance of killing your ass.

heroic is designed for geared L70s. gives epic lots/badges for epics

^yup.

Basically Lokken the mobs are higher level. say for example instead of doing hellfire ramparts ez mode with 63 elite mobs (i think i forget their level) the mobs are 70-73 elites. Both the bosses and trash is much harder (per beta anyways).

The bosses drop epic loots better than their normal version as well as a badge for each party member to collect. These badges can in turn be turned in for more epic gear. However it is worth noting that each heroic mode instance has a 1 day reset timer.

additionally, Spirit shards from the instances in auchindoun(no need for heroic here) can be collected from bosses while your faction controls the bone wastes spirit towers. These can be turned in for blue gear pieces and a really really nice caster or melee epic ring of your choice.

Do the badges in heroic mode drop so that everyone in the party gets one, or are they more like the Corrupter's Scourgestones in that there's only 1 which has to be rolled on?

at first in beta i think only one person could pick them up but with the 1 day reset it went to everyone can pick them up im pretty sure

Whoever was telling me ill get banned is a moron. You have to know what your doing with glider. Aka not glide in tanaris, winterspring, azshara... Private profiles and basically a "little" bit of luck on your side. I have glided many chars to 60 and this will be my first to 70.

I am on 100% private profiles and merc even announced on the site that there is NO warden/glider detection as of right now.

Pallies seem fun to level with little to no downtime but in a raid you are relegated to heal/buff-bot whereas a mage can be a pain to level with the constant health/mana regen (even with your own water) but in a raid it's cake.

If you use glider you will be eventually detected and banned.

Whether thats today or next week is the question. You may get lucky and make it through, or you may not. The only guarantee is that Blizzard's warden is very complicated and constantly evolving.

Also, if you got caught, you'll get mass banned unless a GM caught you.

rep is easy. im already into revered with them without actually trying since theres not really anything i want from either, and i didnt finish all their quests and have like 20 armaments and crap sitting around i need to turn in. rep has been very easy in BC so far

^^ yea im saving like 100 marks of sargeras and looks like 33 fel arrmor pieces until i finish more of the quests out there, should put me a good ways in

PS fel armaments drop well in shadow labyrinth. ive averaged at least 4 a run for myself and on top of that the place has very good blue loot and can get you spirit shards towards a really really nice ring at the same time.

no one i know that has an epic flying mount bought gold. they just had good professions for making money, and finished all their quests after they hit 70 for the extra gold

actually, the gold farmers are kinda odd about it... see, since it's so much easier to make gold in the expansion 70's right now don't need to purchase gold... and most gold farmers didn't keep the vast amounts necessary instock pre-expansion...

that's changing, of course, they're keeping larger and larger amounts in stock, and are also waiting for the market to settle down a bit, when it fixes itself so people will be willing to pay higher amounts in the AH (After the economies settle down) then the farmers will be back out in full force...

nah it had to be like that, did you expect to continue getting upgrades to 100% ?

plus it gives a LOT more room for itemization now. instead of the decision being 'can we afford 1% crit?' when blizzard is itemizing, where the answer is either yes-> item gets 1% crit or no-> item gets 0% crit, they now can say, well there are some extra points left over, lets make the crit rating 20 instead of 16 whereas before they would just throw on a couple extra ap or stam.

it just gives more flexibility and time to growth. my warrior went from 34% crit down to 26 before i started getting BC gear and it sucked but it makes sense

Hey guys lets talk PVP! Name your class and how you fight the other classes successfully. Reason I'm asking is videos show only so much, when someone explains a strategy it helps a bit more.

I'm a mage... I'm an ice mage in fact which means I'm not burst dmg happy. However, when it comes to group pvp I'm fucking insane. It's the 1v1 that's the problem I'm noticing.

Warriors, Rogues, and other mages don't tend to be too much of a problem. Sure they kill my ass from time to time but generally I'm fine. It's the Warlocks, Priests, Druids Paladin and Shaman that just make my life hell.

How do you guys tackle each class?
