That 15% is huge for endgame pve. For pvp, it's nothing special.

A few things... I wasn't there when Wildheart dropped. I'm just the only active druid in my guild over 30... even after my original guild merged with a larger one. My guild just lost to another when they rolled on whose guild druid got the bracers. I'm only level 52... though I did get invited to Scholo last night (or maybe it was Strat?) on a guild raid. Hehe.

I'm not big into PvP. I'll fling a few roots at a fight if I'm in the area, but I'm just not much for killing other people. And I never kill druids, except in one duel... So I'm a PVE person, and Innervate is nice. Its saved me more than once already. I may respec one day... but that's how I'm going right now. I think in my caster gear I get something like 52 mana a second... so 4x that for 20 seconds (if I can avoid casting a spell during that time) is over 4000 mana. I usally lose some to casting a spell, but I'll get 3000, or at the very least 2000. That's a good amount. Plus I'm often grouped with a shammy, and they're usually good about dropping me a mana spring totem, so that's more free mana during a fight.

Omen of Clarity... I was so excited when I got that. I hardly ever use it anymore, though. Perhaps that's because of how much I've been in Mauradon lately... seems almost everything there has some sort of AoE that I want to stay away from, whether silence or damage. When I'm soloing, I'm usually not in caster form a lot of the time, so it doesn't do me any good. It did come in handy a couple of times in Sunken Temple, when we didn't have so much AoE stuff to worry about. OoC will be better when I finally get my hands on the Charstone Dirk... and then one day the Spirit of Aquementas for offhand.

OoC is not dependent on weapon speed, so a dagger won't give you a better return over time.

Oh, and the Spider Belt now has a 30 min cooldown

You have other spells besides seal of crusader and blessing of might.

Just FYI.

You can still maintain the same DPS you had.

not true at all. all the other seals are f'n proc related. SOTC was the only reliable seal. Justice is bad, commmand proc's awful, and for shield palis - sorda stupid...........its a nerf.

i'll find a way around it i hope

Bout' time they took care of this. I have never actually ran into someone using a Spider Belt, but goddamn that would have pissed me off if they had an item which essentially negated my roots an unlimited number of times.

it's not a matter of consistency, it's a matter of adapting all the skills at your disposal to best suit your needs. no wonder you're complaining about "nerfing".

As a paladin I'm not really that upset about the "nerf". we werent really about dps anyway and the only way it's really gonna affect me is when i solo. i've recently started using sword and shield; then judge light on the mob and put seal of light back up. the fight may take 1 minute to finish but with the improved seal of light i finish the fight with full mana and full health.

I know OoC adjusts for weapon speed. So if I fought something only swinging my... umm... I have too many weapons... we'll just say Illusionary Rod at it for the entire fight, it should proc the same number of times as the faster but weaker Charstone Dirk. This I understand.

What apparently is not corrected for is the fact that casting spells, even instacast like Moonfire, Faerie fire, or Regrowth... resets swing timer. But when you only have to wait 1.5 seconds, as opposed to 2.8 or even something awful like 3.4... you actually hit more and thus have more chances to proc OoC. It's all about the same when soloing, since you have to do all the damage yourself... but in an instance or other group situation, it could matter.

Or at least that's my understanding of the situation.

As ive been told (and believe), it will happen just as often with a 3.4 speed as a 1.5speed, however you bring up a good point in that you will get more swings in between casting interupts. so if your main goal is just to be a castor then indeed it might make sense to use a dagger since it will possibly do more damage between spamming spells, too bad we done get a shield. a drood isnt the same without a big fuckin mace tho.

Seriously. I love the 2H maces. I've had Mograine's Might, Rockpounder, and Princess Theradras's Scepter. Unfortunately http://thotbott.com/index.cgi?i=9923 is a world drop... I need to make some money somehow and get my hands on that. The stat boosts make that a VERY good feral weapon.

Right now though, I don't really use maces too much. I have my healer gear for instances, which involves as much int and spirit as possible... and then I have my feral gear, where AC is my biggest concern, followed by any of agi, stam, str. So right now I'm using Mograine's Might when I'm soloing, since it has stat boosts. The other 2, as cool as they look, just don't help me all that much in bear form. Mograine's is great in a Tauren's hands -- even on a female, the mace is bigger than an undead.

My bearform AC is up to 5400+. Should go up a little more today, I'm getting the Warbear Woolies. 53% damage reduction! Even though I don't have a single point in the feral tree... though I'm considering respeccing to at least get that first skill that reduces the energy/rage cost of a lot of the feral abilities.

I took about 2 months off from this game. Still have my lvl 17 Pally on the Durotan server for carebear play. I need some Horde PVP action though to offset the foghatry of playing 1) a paladin 2) PvE and 3) Alliance.
