its based on your team rating at the end of each week. you start with a rating of 1500,which, if you keep that rating, would earn you about 400 arena pts come tuesday. A team with a 2000 rating would earn around 1000 points. A team with 1700 rating would earn about 600 etc.

I actually paged a GM on this to make sure they were even still in the game and i wasn't wasting my time in SV. Atlasloot doesn't show them being on her loot table. (Heroic maybe?) anyway i dont think they can actually tell you where items drop so i told him to /who me and say whether i was hot or cold.

His response was something like "I will say this....Items for Magister Astalor Bloodsworn"

If you're looking for a well balanced server to relax from raiding and level an alliance toon come to Aegwyen. We made a guild called CaKe where all of us are around 36-42. We level together, run in groups almost nightly and just have a good old time.

This coming from me who's leveled 3 lvl 60's, raided to Naxx twice... it's nice to get back to the basics and have a good time with friends. It's not for everyone but the guilds on Aegwyen are deep into hellfire. It's pvp of course and there are even alliances between some horde/alliance guilds.

Shaman this question is for you! So I was pvping on my 62 mage and this shaman runs up with what must be lightning shield, duel wielding axes and crit me for 3600. What the HELL spec was this guy using?

yeah shamans can do some good burst damage. If he was dual weilding he was enhancement spec and you may have got caught by an unfortunate windfury proc.

Yeah I cant verify as my shaman was always resto due to raiding and being a GM, didnt wanna set a bad example lol, but my roommate was the enhancment shaman wielding a hand of rag and once i lvled my mage i understood why he was feared by all cloth wearers. WF procd almost every time he hit me, for around 5K total, not much you can do against that. Probably funniest thing I remember seeing was chasing someone on our mounts i was behind him we were both on epics, cloth wearer wasnt, comes up over a hill and they both jump off the top of the hill, he dismounts and all I see is the whirlwind affect around him and a dead priest midair lol. Duel wielding shamans are a nightmare for casters, its like a rogue but add in a kick that damages for 1500 and the rogue swinging 6 swords at once due to windfury

Can we note oh fucking terrible Azeroth is? Ghostlands took a under a day to level to 20. My warlock, with no rest, got to nearly 61 in 2 hours of questing in Outlands and yet every fucking quest in Azeroth takes a decade and gives crap reward.

They could have at least upped the XP reward for turn ins on these quests to gain faster XP. I'm tempted to just poopsock an entire weekend to be out of the fucking area.

Don't forget an instant dmg spell that does 1k dmg and interrupts casting, as well as grounding totem that can absorb up to 2 spells.

go build enhancement to stormstrike, build resto to atleast 15 points and get the 7x% chance to resist lesser healing wave interrupts. personally I'm not a fan of duel wielding on a shaman and just go for a heavy hitting 2h. shamans don't really scale well with AP so get high crit items and items that will help your healing/survival. going from 650ap at 60 to 780+ at 61 or 62, I still hit for about the same.

Yeh...my mage has that bonus due to being the only cloth wearer when they dropped off Murmur in SL. They were both upgrades. Shoulders and Robes. They look awesome too. Now I need to run instances to get my own 5 piece set. However they make a nice PvP set for me even though the bonus doesnt help me much. :/
