tested out my warrior on the PTR today and MS deathwish is by far the best pvp spec now. ive already been that ever since they went to the new trees anyways, but with the new rage curve endless rage is worthless..well always was but now those of you that felt like you needed it you dont.

the new unbridled wrath is great. ive tested it a ton today on random mobs and im averaging 80% or higher proc rate on every mob. its been tested on about 10 mobs but for example the last four mobs i just stood there and autoattacked and it was 4/4 4/5 4/4 5/6 procs/#of swings with my 2H. VERY nice. its nearly a guaranteed rage point which is close to a 5% increase in rage in and of itself if you never had the talent and still nice if you had it before.

between the overall rage nudge and the new UW, im seeing as much or more rage than you would see currently *with* ER. still less than i saw pre 2.0 changes but its a balanced amount of rage now imo


-they nerfed the green netherstorm tanking bracers hardcore like 20 stamina off of them
-slight nerf to the second sight helms of various classes
-slight increase in warrior crit for me was a little over 1% (35% crit ftw)

cant think of anything else notable that ive run across on PTR

Fucking busted ass meta gem shit. AND YES, I MEET THE REQUIREMENTS.

With the meta gem I tack on +20crit rating to my new helm. That's 6 more than my previous helm. I only drop 2 agility yet my crit chance drops fucking .32%.

Knowledge base says that it isn't bugged, but I've had a GM tell me it's a known problem. So I have a feeling I was told that just so I wouldn't bother him.

So basically that's an asston of money for a meta gem that is worthless.

I just got done doing 1-30 on the horde side for the first time. I was really surprised with how much additional content the horde gets. Alliance pretty much has VC and Gnomer. Horde gets RC, SFK, WC, BFD (alliance on my servers hardly touch this so I don't count it), and RFK. Add zeppelins for easy access to all the fps and more fps in general. Pretty much ezmode. I like it.

Pre expansion alliance had it easymode for endgame FP, horde has to hop on a zeppelin to grom gol then fly to kargath, alliance just take their 30 second flight down to thorium point and roll out it evens out eventually

i remember horde side sucked way back in the day before they added all the extra FP's. Barrens was the worst trying to get to field of giants or 1kn cause there was no flight path and Camp Mojave (sp?)

In particular, I was complaining about how they start the night elves off in the far side of the moon in auberdine and it takes an hour to migrate to westfall. Then the trek across the barrens to tanaris/ratchet is painful. No fp in northern STV sucks and you have to hike all the way from south shore through alterac across all of trisfal glades to get to SM (every time you go there).

my pvp gear in only rolling in about 9800 but thats because im using the crafted axe with no stam until i grab the arena weapon for pvp.

2v2 and 5v5 are my more dedicated ones. im doing 2v2 with a shadow priest good friend of mine.

2v2 was up to 1926 until we lost 2 matches after that. double blind rogue team and a DC loss for over 50 pts total between the 2 late last night.

3v3 isnt as serious so its 1700 something

I'm in a guild designed around 5v5 arenas, you've probably seen the ads, so we have a bunch of new people playing together for the first time in 5v5s, its a very mixed bag. My team is just kind of hanging out around 1600 while the rosters are still being finalized as people ding 70.

2v2 with a Warlock (I'm Paladin) has been an easy ride to 1700, neither of us has had time to play much in the past week, but we're still not being challenged by much of anything. I expect we'll get up to at least 1800 before we have any difficulties.
3v3 is lol with Warrior+Shaman+Paladin. Shaman is very undergeared (7k hp) and still learning his class, but he's learning quickly =)

CtA what's your AP/crit in your PvP gear? http://ctprofiles.net/5150822 is my team's warrior's pvp set, obviously there's still a lot he can improve.

untill your max level in enchanting is 300, your trainer is somewhere in azeroth. I never did an enchanter horde side, only blacksmith.

Anyone have a Warlock account preferably around 60 or so ( give or take) they might want to sell or trade. Have a 60 gnome warr that can be traded or straight cash or a combination of both.

Need to be: PVE server (that can transfer to Medivh)
Gnome preferable (Human is ok)

Ugh...got all my heroic keys over the weekend, I never want to run Shattered Halls again. I ran Slave Pens on heroic, and that was a treat. Pretty hard in a few spots, but having a really organized group makes it easily doable. I get the feeling that you don't want to pug heroics.

Almost done w/questing since I only have scryer quests in Shadowmoon left. Time to start raiding soon....

-11 Intellect
-3 Hit Rating
-22 Attack Power

pretty much the only thing they have going for them now is the hit rating. they have about the same agility, decent bit less AP, less stamina than my sha'tari wrought greaves

PvE is Carebear mode. They don't want people to level up on a server where they don't have to worry about PvP, then transfer to a PvP server. That would defeat the purpose. You earn your 60-70 characters on PvP servers.

and lvl'd to 60 on a pvp server

and I can tell you now, that shit is a lot harder on a pvp server. Especially questing and trying to get into 40 man instance around 6 or 7. ST

My best burst damage moment was on a fully dotted mob. I had nightfall proc one right after another 4 times. All the instantcast shadowbolts were crits. That adds up to about 7500 damage only pausing for the global cooldown. Of course, the mob was a molten giant. I stole aggro and got my face eaten, but it was still fun.

Nowadays, a demo/ruin specced raiding lock will typically crit 7000+ against a fully dotted raid mob. Thats one shadowbolt.

Shadow Mastery/Ruin is always a fun fun build. You really cant go wrong with any warlock build however. I once put all my points into Destruction and still owned.

Ran KZ last nite, and God healing 10 people is so much better than 40. Dropped the Maiden of Justice, Romeo & Juliet, Nightmare (horse guy) and whatever undead rogue boss there is. I was kind of expecting it to be a lot more tough.
