agi and stam are nice to have, but sockets make it workable
wastewalker shoulders are like the 3rd best kitty ones in the game under t4 and t5
other pieces arent bad as well

They're definitely worth picking up for a feral druid, but they are by no means a "druid-specific" set.

vista doesn't "waste" ram. When you see it using more ram than XP while idling, most of that is due to superfetch. Which provides anywhere from no increase to a huge increase in loading performance. The ram is freed from superfetch if you need it.

Lower frame rates in vista are due in large parts to the way they changed how drivers work. As ati/nvidia start writting their drivers better (ATI will never do this) you will see a performance increase. Also, if you're running in windowed mode keep in mind that you're also rendering the desktop at the same time. Turning of Aero should give you some performance increase.

vista's locked up alot for me playing wow

i might go back to xp, but i do get 60+ FPS with full settings in vista.

Anyway, is anyone preparing for Magtheridon? What's the FR number to shoot for ? Tanks/Melee/Ranged?

I finally got a second piece of the assassination armor set last night to enable the first proc (haste of 160 on CS or KS for 6 secs). the proc even-works on non-stunnable mobs so its nice because you won't lose combo points, just a little energy and you get the haste. the haste also stacks with the haste proc from the mace that drops in shadow labs which if they both are on at the same time it gives you ~25% haste

this is a really good combo for rogues, highly suggested!

Aight, I hope I don't frustrate too many people with this question, but I've searched for the answer thoroughly and cannot find it.

I cannot play at all on any NCSU wireless connections. I've opened all the recommended ports on my firewall, and everything else every forum has recommended. I assumed the game was just blocked by the network and it was out of my reach, but then I looked over in one of my classes and saw another student playing. ><

my frame rate is still locked at 60fps...i only bluescreen every now and then since i updated my sound drivers...but other than that I have no performance issues in Vista which is what these guys are bitching about.

I think the issue is related to Nvidia drivers that aren't very optimized. Noah was having that issue last night with his wonderful 5 fps performance in ramparts.

Regardless, buggy drivers AND blue screening are both performance issues and all the more reason not to upgrade to Vista just yet.

negative. it is interesting and i think ill check it out more when im graduated and all. its really not comparable. LOTRO isnt about competitiveness and PVP which is what i focus on in WoW. LOTRO is more exploration and questing within a world people are quire familiar with in Tolkien's work. At least imo
