You dinged 70 and only have 800 gold?

I started 60 with 15 gold, and dinged 70 with over 6000g just from quests and selling greens picked up along the way.

I dinged 70 with only 400g, but mainly because I had DE'd pretty much every green/blue I had gotten through quests to level enchanting.

^^^ you didnt get 6000 JUST from questing and selling greens. I DEd greens when the mats would sell for more than the item would to the vendor, and sold the greens to the vendor otherwise, as well as did EVERY quest in hellfire, zangarmarsh, blades edge, nagrand, and nearly all in netherstorm before I ever hit 70, as well as sold tons of ORE and was still only at 2k.

sure people who utilized professions could have a lot more, but theres no way not including professions you hit 6k from quests and selling greens. because i did the same and theres not even enough quests you could have done (without hitting 70) to make up or a 4k gold difference

i feel stupid talkin about boss fights that are way behind where some of yall are at...we gave shade of aran about 20 tries last night and couldnt get him. we'd get to the water elementals and it would break down there. warlocks were supposed to be CCing them, and i think they were havin trouble with resists and stuff. it was our first time gettin to him though, so i guess one can expect some trouble.

I would just use it while i read and do homework. I would never leave it on for hours on end botting. Just something to watch while i do other things around my room.

We did do a lot of instances, when I hit 70, we were almost exalted with every faction, so that played a big part of the green influx. I also used the greens/blues to hit 375 enchanting and 375 tailoring.

Dont know about on your server, but Spellcloth sells for 80-100g a piece at the AH, and with 3 characters making it, I can make 500-600 gold every 4 days.

Rule of thumb... if you don't understand how bots work you shouldn't be using them without fear of losing your account.

Play the game the whole time. Get your skill up at the same time. You just figure things out while you play. If you bot it you learn nothing and will appear just a noob in your class.

I remember seeing someone on here got a warlock to 70 using wow glider. It's pretty risky, but I guess if you exercise alot of caution, you can make it work for you.

I sorta wish they had reduced the xp it takes to get to 60 in the TBC, but oh wells. I'm 55 at 6.5 days played on my blood elf pally. I guess that's not terrible for the first time on horde side.

its 10g to train each skill...i DE anything that vendors for less than 4g...i have also leveled my Tailoring and Enchanting constantly so now they're both 360+

and i already have my epic riding mount so i just need my flying mount training and i'll work towards the epic with enchant sails. I have tons of mats to make spellcloth but i'm saving it for my gear...i guess i can make mooncloth and shadowcloth to sell

anyone who says "Wowglider will get you banned" doesn't know how to use it.


of course there's always a risk. get a suicide account, use a gamecard, and bot a class you already know how to play to 60. I've had no trouble using it. But I don't sleep or go afk while i bot either.

Yeah I am having a hard time believing you had 6k gold when you dinged 70 just from that. My char is mining and herbalism and i farmed a ton of shit while lvling and hell i barely had enough to buy my flying mount when i dinged. I didnt touch netherstorm or shadowmoon until after i dinged 70. I did every single quest in both zones, farmed a shit ton of stuff, and i still owe 1000g to my friend on my epic flying mount. Either your servers economy is totally off the wall fucked, or something isnt adding up.

Anybody ever try gold farming or power leveling?

I haven't had time to play the game lately and my guild wants to go on a raid in a couple of weeks and they need me to be eligible.

I'v heard http://gameapt.com is good and cheap and http://ige.com is good, but expensive.

yea i need to get another ring with hit on it over my conq band unless i throw an 8hit gem in my new gloves. im right at 5% hit now meaning im locked down to some items like my green bracers (which actually are decent) just because they have 13 hit rating. Gladiator pants coming soon but thats only 8 hit

5% in PVP 5.6% on bosses.

i mean i have other items with hit but im trying not to be wearing any of those items JUST for hit. tryin to keep PVP HP above 10k at all times without saccing other stats as well. Itd be easy if i took the gladiator weapon like i planned on, but decided to pick up the gladiator gear when they buffed it and just use stage 2 axe

When I hit 70, I had 1000 gold easy. I still had 1/2 the quets in Blade's Edge Mts and all the quests left in Netherstorm and Shadowmoon.

Once I finished all of those, and hitting revered w/Thrall, Shatar, CE, CoT, LC, etc...I had exactly 3200G. I vendored everything and never bought anything off of the AH (I actually never really made it to the AH since it's such a pain now).

Unless you're enchanting and raising your skill, you should have no problem on gold for a while. I think most enchanters have given up on a nice bank while raising their skill however. All that being said, I know plenty of people that are putting stupid enchants on boe 68's which they bought for crazy money.

Okay guys I'm almost to level 40 on my shaman. I'm specced enhancement. What's the plan when I hit 40. Name the best weapons to use (had some trouble searching for what I thought would be good).

I currently have a buttload of agility and crit 14.7% of the time with my 2h. I'm not raid oriented. It's pvp and leveling with some groups of friends. I'm also 300 jewelcrafting.

So, first run into Karazhan...finally. I hate being in a scrub guild. (Not that I'm a great player, but some of these people are just shit)

Anyway, I love the place. We only did everything up to Moroes, but it wasn't bad at all. The only snag we had were stupid fuckers doing shit that'd get them a raid, if not a guild, kick in the middle of shit. IE. not paying attention, going afk and not fucking telling anyone while we're pulling a timed event (and even in the middle of a fight), and other randomly retarded ass shit. After they finally got that shit out of their system we were fine.

Some things I noticed:

Man, our warlocks try to pew pew like like they've never grouped before and have no idea what aggro control is.

We have a druid.......wearing all cloth.

I kept seeing a hunter at the top of the threat meter....yet his dps was 8 of 10.

The main tank last night likes to kite shit around for absolutely no reason. Then when it's time to actually kite something he stands in place and doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.

We suck

Oh well, I'm just glad I finally got to see some new content. Also, I still think it's hilarious I can rack up 500k more damage than anyone else and not pull aggro a single time. Blending in and still pwning people who are trying way too hard is fun.

my guild got in there last week, but this week we've finally progressed. i think it helped that we got an opera event other than romeo and juliet. we spent 2 days on shade of aran, and didnt get illhoof til the first try the day after rackin our brains on a strategy that would work. now we're tryin to get the prince, but we cant figure out how to avoid the infernals and still get heals on the tank. pain in the butt, though it seems if you can figure that out, it'd be relatively easy.

3-4 melee interrupting fire/frost until the elementals are up. if you don't have enough cc for the elementals to not be an issue, interrupt every cast from then on. when the elementals are down, burn and interrupt everything
