not quite, an ms warrior will fuck people up in plain jane blues and greens as long as the weapon is a decent blue.

you can make any class and build combo for pvp, but there are a lot of builds that a trash for pve and complete wastes of class specific talents. take a moonkin druid. their dps is lolable, their aura is pretty negligable unless you got them in the same group as paladins, they got no regen, and their dps is so peaky, they always pull aggro. the list goes on; survival hunter, subtlety rogue, discipline priest, destruction lock (but to a lesser degree), ret paladin, etc.

Just kidding. My frosty kicks ass with +726 dmg. Could and will tweak it higher but after farming that damn Frozen Shadoweave set I got sick of looking at my mage. If what they are saying is true and tailors will be able to switch specialties then I might craft the fire/arc set and have it just incase I need/want to respec.

I never really understood the beef people have with destro locks. Sure, they were ass back when Conflag was a 1.5 sec cast spell. After that changed, they were immensly fun as burst damage PvP when the cap was 60.

I have yet to play my destro lock after lvl 62 (rerolled, blah, darn guild), but I can only see things getting better on that route. On any instances where mobs will die fast, destro is much better than Affliction since DoTs will not run their course. A 0-21-40 is an awesome build for any direct damage (shadowbolt spam or searing pain + immolate/incinerate/conflag). And going all 41 to shadowfury for a 2-3 second stun that is ranged, AoE, and on a 20 sec CD is also a good thing. Pair that with Engineering grenades for some icing.

I guess it all boils down to the "if you want direct damage, you should have rolled a mage" theory. Meh, I like my HS, SS, pets, fear, DC, DoTing ability and so on. Plus, being on Horde side right now means that I don't have to worry about WotF.

warriors are extremely fun (to me) but maybe not if youre just getting into the game now i dono. The character I've played has been the same race, class, name (and spec for the most part, MS 99% of the time ever since i could get it in my trees ) since Beta and it has been a warrior and im still playing. so to me its been a fun class.

tanking can be really fun and a rewarding change of pace from a straight dps role. I can bet a really geared out druid would be fun as shit if you're an intelligent player. With the right armorz and skillz you can do about any role just as good or better than the respective class these days as a drood.

out of warrior/rogue/mage i've had the most fun playing a mage. I haven't had a chance to really play a priest/paladin/drood for more than just filling in for a friend spothealing or twoboxing and spamming rank 11 heals while i 'duo' instance pulls and shit.

I'm still kind of a noob to this game even though I have a 50 druid and a 45 hunter. But everyone says the game is very different after 60+ so I still consider myself a noob. So I am trying to get there slowly but surely when I have time since I am married and about to have my first child, so bear with me [druid joke there ].

Anyways I am sorry for repeating this question if it's already been asked but I thought I'd at least try. Where are some good sites for specs for different classes and maybe even articles on how to properly play your characters? The reason I ask this is because when I first started my Druid I had no idea how to play him correctly. I didn't realize he was more or less a mix of classes but at a weaker extent until I started playing a couple of low level character like a warrior, rogue, and priest.

Now I think I play my druid a little better, or at least have a better understand of the morphing abilities. I would just like to know if I am specing my druid correctly and if I am playing him to the best of my ability? Thanks!

So here's the question I've been wrestling with the last couple weeks: should I go play on a shitty PvE server in a guild with 2 or 3 good players and the rest mediocre if it means I get to compete in the arena tournaments for $$? Or should I stay on a server where I'm relatively happy.. but unlikely to get flown out to China for playing?

I guess I'm just worried that once I hit 70 on this shitty server, I won't want to log in because there'll be only a couple people to PvP with, and only raids full of mediocre PvEers to attend. On the other hand.. they want to fly me places to play WoW for money. Such a dilemma.

i've got a 70 druid and i've got decent gear for all 3 specs...my tanking gear is solid, and the other two specs i have blues for. i respeced moonkin just for fun and had about 544 spell damage. i know thats low, but i've done 5-mans with less than that and led the damage meter, so i figured i'd be all right. i was terrible in kara. i generated way too much threat for doing way too little damage. its a fun change of pace and can be a powerful spec IF you're geared well. with the next patch, they're giving moonkins threat reduction, which'll be nice. just gotta get that spell damage up to at least 800.

the reason everyone hates on destro locks is because they're glass cannons. sure they have retarded shadow bolt crits and burst damage, but they have no survivability. shadow fury doesnt do shit in a raid, no pet to help mitigate damage, and very peaky dps that ALWAYS pulls aggro.

when i pop my trinket or get the bonus dmg on crit chance from my other trinket i'm in the +1200 dmg

haven't done my bracer enchant yet until i get a good bracer and I haven't done my +spell dmg ring enchants yet either until i get better rings. Plus i'm missing a bunch of gems

It's so incredibly lame that you have to be honored with the violet eye to get the gear. My rogue is about 100 from honored and my warrior just started Karazhan. So I don't get to have any fun on the PTR except for trying out the netherdrake line and the new factions (which isn't really fun as much as trying to figure them out before they are live).

I copied my warrior over the other day, and then I got his epic mount, so I don't have it on my warrior on PTR, BUT somehow my rogue is on the PTR on the same account as my warrior but I moved the rogue onto a seperate account. It's even his most current gear (and epic flying mount) and I haven't moved him to PTR since before Naxxramas came out.
