when i was playing my war, a mage ap pom pyro'd me for like 4000something. i had about 10khp, so i was at about half health. I just proceeded to own him.

Whats really fun is when you get sheeped and they proceed to pyro you for 3500, ap/pom pyro you for nearly 6k then fireblast ya for another 2k, very few will survive taht one

i totally agree, just throwing that in there in case people didn't know so they could play it off and not become victim to a classic TWW flamefest.

^^thats why I love battlegrounds as a mage. Fire blast, blast wave, arcane explosion = killing blows flashing all over my screen. I'm always top DPS and top 5 Killing blows + honor kills in eye of the storm.

oh and everytime i see a heal cast flash on my screen i tab like crazy till i get to the pallys and counter spell heh

Does WOW hurt you our help you academically ?
I'm curious if there are counter-examples to those I happen to know personally.
My friends/relatives seem to loose at least a letter grade or two in a typical semester.
In the past I've tutored students who have failed out of college due to over-gaming.
How common is this ?

I figure this is the place to ask, I don't mean any offense. Just curious.

i graduated in 4 years in mechanical engineering with a 3.15 and i play this game a ton...but it only replaces the time i would have wasted watching TV or playing xbox/wii/PS3 etc. pretty much like sandsanta said, theres plenty of ways to waste college that this is just substituting for. Its really not much more than that, and is no reason to do any worse in school really.

So, I finally get to play tonight after not being able to play due to working overtime.

Plan on hitting 40 so I can ride but I would reallllllly like to get a runthru or two for the SM Armory and get myself a mining bag. I think maccabi told me to get in touch with him so will do that for the bag, but anyone feel like flyin thru there? takes 10-15 minutes for a good lvl 70 to do a bare minimum runthru (or at least thats what Skryll can do )

anyone whos still leveling characters notice an insane amount of ganking going on lately? i mean by 70's. I see 70's sitting in zones like STV and badlands still ganking noobs. I can't think of a worse way to spend my time with so much to do in the xpac.

One reason is a lot of people are switching up professions with the patch coming up, so you have to spend some time in noob zones say lvling mining or hebalism. And I cant think of a better way to spice up an extremely boring lvling process then killing a few noobs to make myself a bit happier.

I am too cheap to ever buy anything, only stuff I buy is things that I cant farm on my own, or arent worth the time like if I need one elemental water or something stupid for an alt. This explains why I am about to have 2 chars with epic mounts as well haha. (assuming I dont come across a blade of wizardry reasonably priced)

I normally don't run with anything on my MH because we have WF totem up, but we didn't this time so i was running with double anesthetic on the trash, just forgot to swap one out on the boss.

^^ only if you use envenom. the proc rate on anesthetic is broken and it procs about 40%.
