I honestly thought most of the first 4 episodes were pretty silly. Some of the initial setup and plot was ridiculous and not believable at all, even by 24's standards. Every scene with Jack was pure gold though, and by the end of the 4th episode, there is nothing on TV I would rather watch.

they should have a season where jack makes decisions like that and he's completely wrong so everybody is pissed off at him the entire day and the end he has to listen to somebody else's advice to make a life or death situation instead of making it himself

The Dallas Metro does the same thing, but I'd say a lot of people don't ever get the tickets and live with the small risk. But it gets a lot of money from visitors and tourists that don't know any better and buy tickets.

I could definitely see the show getting to the point where Jack becomes President. Would be a nice way to cap final 1 -2 seasons, he can't run around like this forever. Sorta like the Tom Clancy books, where like half the government gets taken out by a terrorist attack and Jack Ryan becomes President.
